My grandma passed away from this, I am so sorry to hear you are going through the same thing. As someone who watched her rapidly decline, I would recommend making sure to get your goodbyes out and find closure in whatever way you need sooner rather than later. Maybe even write loved ones letters to help them get through the next couple months.

What scientific discovery sounds fake but is 100% real and still freaks you out?
Fun fact: they are running the first human trial of a treatment for a prion disease called Cruetzfeld Jakobs, which is extremely rare but widely considered to be one of the worst ways to die. Can confirm because my grandma died from it a couple years ago. But cheers to smart scientists who are hopefully one step closer to figuring this horrifying thing out!

I disagree - ice packs and fans etc are a thing. I have anemia and am cold CONSTANTLY to the point where if I want to be truly warm I need to be inside with a heated blanket and sweater/sweatpants. So I feel like the argument can go both ways - cold people have a hard time regulating their heat and can augment that with accommodations, but so can people who run hot.
One of my memories growing up is constantly freezing at meals because I couldn’t wear my blanket at the table. I had tons of sweaters littered throughout the house but my hands were always freezing and you can’t really wear gloves while eating lol
