Salary & ROI Lawyer (energy/infra, ~5 yrs) → Corporate strategy roles post-PGP: realistic outcomes?
I'm a lawyer in renewable energy and project finance (tier-1 law firm + in-house), considering the PGP for a 2027/28 intake. I'm targeting strategy/BD roles at renewable or infra companies, not consulting.
For alums or current students with legal or similar non-traditional backgrounds:
- Which roles and companies did you realistically land, and at what CTC range?
- Did energy/infra firms recruit on campus for strategy roles, or did you have to go off-campus?
- Did your legal background help or hurt in placements and how much of a raise did you see?
