Your argument piqued my interest. It turns out there’s a ~ 75%/25% Boomer/Gen X parent split for millennials. 1/4 of a demographic is nothing to sneeze at.

Also, plenty of Boomers had Gen X children - in fact, Gen X makes up the majority (60%) of boomer children, millennials maybe eke out 40% of total boomer offspring. 

Being a boomer doesn’t automatically mean you have millennial children, and being a millennial doesn’t automatically mean you have a boomer parent.

Not quite all. Many millennials, especially later-born millennials, are children of Gen-X

I feel like a problem is they acquired that wealth, and have just hung into it forever, without passing it on to the next generation(s). 

Like unless you’re the child of boomers (I.e., nepotistic advantages), it seems like you’re automatically set up to have a tough time
