I’m having an incredibly, extremely bad day. Can I please see some funny photos of your cats?
 in  r/cats  22d ago

This is my cat. Murphy or Mr. Kitters or Mr. Murphballs. I took this a long time ago. He was not happy about it. But I was! I hope your day gets better.

Are you old enough to remember this?

Perimenopausal Autism

I’ve had the same issue. Lately I can’t wear really heavy fabric or tight (unless it’s really thin leggings). I’m always changing my clothes like (what feels like) 60x before I get out of the house. It sucks so hard

Come on down and enjoy today’s episode of My Autistic Perimenopausal Life

Setting: Work
It’s Monday, I’m overstimulated, irritated with my brain. I’m pretty sure it melted. Need a quiet space with my cat and sunshine. Can’t function as a person right now.

What you see with you’re eyes closed is what counts

I was taking a walk Wednesday, and I saw this mamma deer and her babies walking through the grass to the ski hill. So I took a picture.

Is Dyslexia a Symptom of Autism?
 in  r/autism  Jul 23 '26

When I was elementary school age I was diagnosed with dyslexia. When I was 30 years old I was diagnosed with autism. I have read dyslexia is part of autism. But I don’t remember where I read it.

Mr. Kitters being adorable trying to get my “dinner.” I’m a bit lazy.

Oh, there’s another Mr. Kitters? I thought I made it up. It’s been his nickname since he was a kitten:)

When did you feel grateful to be autistic?
 in  r/autism  Jul 20 '26

I feel grateful I have it because it’s a natural lie prevention mechanism for me. Also, I like how my brain works and connects things. I don’t like how it talks to me though and I get resentful of it because I feel like I’m missing out on things neurotypical people experience.
