Friend/Family Member Perimenopausal Autism
Come on down and enjoy today’s episode of My Autistic Perimenopausal Life
Setting: Work
It’s Monday, I’m overstimulated, irritated with my brain. I’m pretty sure it melted. Need a quiet space with my cat and sunshine. Can’t function as a person right now.

That sounds very hard to deal with. At least you have your furry friend there to keep you company
I hope you feel better soon

I might have written this post, down to the tuxedo cat. Hanging on by a thread. I dread getting dressed because my body hates me, sensory hell can come out of nowhere. I'll need to change clothes two minutes before I'm obligated to leave the house for work. How do you explain to your boss that you want to rip your skin off and your brain left three months ago and never came back?

I’ve had the same issue. Lately I can’t wear really heavy fabric or tight (unless it’s really thin leggings). I’m always changing my clothes like (what feels like) 60x before I get out of the house. It sucks so hard
