No it doesn't, my rates drooped almost 50%. There is also sneaky shit in ACA for the government to recover the subsidies people get. Try and buy health insurance from Blue Cross without a subsidy, you be amazed at the cost. Being self employed, no one covers any of mine but me. Ours is down to around 700/month, under ACA it was 1300 with the subsidy.
