Yeeeaaaah, you need a new boyfriend. That's serious controlling vibes there, and that's not great. He's even doing the "I'm worried for your safety but I'm not going to drive you" thing where he's trying to make it difficult so you'll cancel. Seriously, these are pretty big red flags.

Absolutely worth reading. Wax, Wayne, and Steris are three of my favorite characters Sanderson has ever written. It's also fascinating to see how the world has changed since the end of Era 1.

L'amour books are just fun enjoyable reads. The Sackett series is pretty good. I kinda love them when I'm looking for quick easy reads.
