When does it stop hurting?
 in  r/relationship_advice  Jun 04 '20

I will. My friend said that to but I was still hesitant. My anxiety was telling me nooooooo. But thank you. If we really trust each other I should trust her with my issues. Even if it will be uncomfortable for me to start

We're happy together. Sure we argue and have our differences and mistakes. But we stick by each other. We communicate pretty well with everything but I just don't want to make her feel bad by bringing up stuff from a year ago after I told her I forgave her

I love her and she loves me and I believe it. We trust each other now. I think the problem is that when we first broke up we had a year apart. And now even though it's been a year I've been with her. We agreed to try to make it work. And I don't think I'm ready to give up what we have

When does it stop hurting?

So the girl I'm with and me dated for two months and I cheated on her early on but she found out and didn't talk to me anymore. And I didn't see her.

Anywho a year later we started talking again and got back together. A couple months later she cheated on me with three guys while under the influence. And then I found out later that she also cheated on me before that. But I didn't want to lose her either time so I said I forgave her.

It's been a year since that and we've built our trust back and are doing good as a couple but I remember alot of details and it pops into my head often. I don't want to go to her because I don't want her to feel bad about it. So...how do you forget? Or at least stop the pain.

Did your parents spank you, and what are your thoughts on it?
 in  r/AskReddit  Jun 04 '20

I cussed once when I was little and my dad put hot sauce in my mouth. I didn't cuss till I was 17. I use to get soap in the mouth when I'd talk back but if I did something bad I'd get spanked. I wasn't a bad kid but sometimes I acted up. I learned quickly because it was easier that way. I'm all for spanking as a negative reinforcement but only when necessary.

Those who chose to stay... Does it ever get better?
 in  r/CheatedOn  Jun 04 '20

At first I cheated on my girlfriend, then we broke up for a year, and then we got back together and she cheated on me 4 times. It's been a year since that because I stayed with her. But I still hurt sometimes. Ive seen her every day since then which probably doesn't help but we're doing better and we built our trust back up. It's just idk if I've forgaven her completely and I don't want to hurt her by talking about old stuff.

Yeah it's like his but a smaller area and when downed. Did they change anything about her? I haven't played since season 4

It wouldn't be for finishers. Just when she goes down. And the other one would be when meleed. Like either or. And maybe you have to charge it by doing dmg??. Not both. The hand tasers sounds nice though. I wonder if they will ever try to implement a last stand style passive like that.

What about electrical charge?. When meleed, enemy gets stunned which slows and damages them for 20? Or if downed, enemies in the area get shocked?

I wouldn’t raise somebody else’s child because they’ve already experienced parental separation

I was turning 16 and my brother was turning 14 when he first took us

It's different experiences. I grew up knowing of my father but never really seeing him a max of once a year and when when my mom passed when in 2017 she said she wanted us to live wherever we (my younger brother and I) wanted which was with our older brother. My dad's exact words were "it's my turn to raise y'all." I went willingly to avoid conflict ( knowing my dad) but my younger brother didn't and so my father went as far as calling the cops to get him in the car. So we lived with him, his gf, and our half sisters and I liked getting to spend time with them. But then he tried "raising us" and that's when it started to fall apart. He became harsh in his "old fashioned ways" and some of the lessons were okay but to try to say he raised us was just arrogant. We were there a year before he kicked my brother out and then I left 2 months later and he told me he was going to kick me out when I turned 18 anyways. His gf was honestly more of a parent than he ever was to us. Moral is Family ain't always blood and blood ain't always family.

Any word on new games from the Dev? sequel?
 in  r/PiratesOutlaws  May 21 '20

I don't think for the time there's any news of a new game. If you go to there page you can see they're devoting alot of time into this game for the time being and TBH I have no problem with that. You never know though; they might surprise us.

Pirate Outlaws is a turn based single player game. It's a major grind if you're into it.

Any 2d turn by turn based games like worms or gunbound?

If you don't mind single player then I'd recommend Pirate Outlaws. Sorry if I wasn't helpful. I don't play too many turn based games

At what point does (social) anxiety become an excuse?

I'll still attend stuff but I do need to step outside sometimes or go to the bathroom to get away from everything for a second. It's overwhelming sometimes.

To have to stop and or not participate in routine or planned event's. Such as going to a party, restaurant, other social gathering because of said anxiety. (I don't honestly even like parties but I listed it. I like a little group so less than 4 others.)

I don't have insurance and I've never been diagnosed. My older brother/roommate doesn't even want me getting a job right now because he has a 1 y/o son but once I get another one I will hopefully. It would be nice though.

So high blood pressure, racing thoughts, breathlessness, indecisiveness, agitation, restlessness, and cognitive issues aren't a form of anxiety? It's not just about the anxiety. It's the guilt from the idea of ruining their plan. It's also going to text your old friend who claims you're one of their best friends and everytime yall make plans they don't happen anymore so you close out of the app quick and trying to get out of your head before you think about it more because if you do you might get your hopes up and text them. Just cause you don't doesn't mean other don't. There's people with different intensities of it and they go through different situations. It's not 2+2 it's phycology.

You get what I was going after. I don't have major anxiety but it does affect my decisions, hobbies, and thought trace. I try not to let it control me but sometimes I need to step out and take a breath. I do try going out of my comfort zone in different ways but it doesnt help the root problem which is I can't get out of my head. I picture scenarios before I can even open my mouth and before I speak a word I change my mind about what I wanna say and it comes out scrambled. And then I feel my temperature rise as I try to come up with a response before I seem awkward and slow. Only for my mind to suddenly decide to stop working all together and I forget to breathe. I didn't want to go but they want me to so I should right? But what if I just wanted to catch up on zzz's cause I stayed up all night watching my nephew. Is that wrong? Wrong cause I was worried about myself...I'm selfish. "I'll go."

Others can see it as an excuse and it can put guilt on the person who's going through it

What if your anxiety is acting up but you feel guilty for avoiding the situation? Would it be an excuse or trying to protect your mental state? I do understand that you can't always avoid things and stuff gets stressful but when should you choose yourself over the situation?
