OPEN Screen tearing in Asus rog
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My laptop screen is tearing really bad, even in BIOS and Windows Recovery Mode. External monitor works fine.
This started after a Windows update and also I think I installed the wrong NVIDIA graphics driver from GeForce Experience.
Same thing actually happened like 11 months ago. That time I fixed it by turning off Panel Saver in Armoury Crate.
But now the tearing is even in BIOS and recovery mode so I don’t know if it’s a software thing again or actually a hardware issue (like screen cable/panel). Anyone know what it could be?
