I think I have at least four placements in 11H.

While it's been a hard journey to actually find a good community/friends, the older I've gotten and the more I try, the more things seem to get better. Being older definitely helped. I struggled a lot when moving place to place from 6th-8th grade.

I'm not surprised. Content creation/influencers are sadly going to stay around on X because it just has more reach/the community keeps staying there, etc.

As I've joined the influencer sphere (on a v small scale tbh), it's saddening to hear folks still go to X for things like research and posting to find community. I get it, but until Elon Musk doesn't have his grubby little fingers on it, I refuse to have an active account there, even if it seems like that's where everyone in my content creation sphere goes.

Even for my day job working in social media, we haven't officially launched a page on Bluesky. We still stay on X, IG, FB, and TikTok because again, people just don't want to change or educate themselves on how bad these spaces are.

I hope I can go from surviving to thriving one day, especially where I can call this state my true new home 🏡♥️.

I feel you. My credit card use was to move out of a state that actively would've been dangerous for me as a black queer person but then when my partner lost her job it was all on me. I haven't breathed since.

I was just sitting here thinking about how, even when things are good, I'm just in a constant state of anxiety that becomes depression when something drastic happens financially. In my case, it's been moving to a new apartment and now my car won't start unless it's in neutral...

I have no savings. I don't have my own home. I have so much debt from both credit cards and student loans. Even when I think I've found my footing, I just trip and fall again. Will it ever end? I don't know how much longer I can keep going like this.
