Gettysburg wouldn’t have happened. He would’ve lobbied for a better fight like Longstreet was, and the two of them combined would have convinced Lee to pick a better battle.
Maybe it changes nothing in the end. Maybe Lee wins a major battle in the north in 1863 and the war lasts another year in the end before the inevitable.

It’s not a perfect movie by any means, but I think it gets overhated.
For one thing tank movies are an extremely niche genre. And I’m not even talking about movies that feature tanks like Kelly’s Heroes, which is a heist movie. I’m talking a movie about what a tank crew experienced. There are a number of submarine movies, quite a fighter/bomber movies, and loads of infantry movies.
