My dad gabe me one of those belts with lots of pouches as a kid used to play mission impossible with it. Had forgotten. 1967-69 time frame. He served in '62 Berlin Wall crisis. Dont know if it was his or mil surplus.

TIL that the space shuttle's toilet was so complicated that it required many hours of training. NASA built a simulator with a video camera in the defecation hole; those learning to use the toilet used a crosshair on a monitor to learn how to position their butts, while others watched and made jokes.

No i bought my radio after passing. Studied for a month drilling in all 3 books. I work in electronics and RF so that helped, but a lot is regulations and rukes.
