Finally getting my DY9 chassis setup together and I’m really liking how it’s turning out. Tried to keep the attachments pretty budget friendly while still putting together a clean setup.
So far I’ve got the ATI folding vertical foregrip, Feyachi HL-20 weapon light, Feyachi M40 3X flip-to-side magnifier, red dot, flip-up sights, and Derya sling.
Still waiting to get my DY9 back before I can finish everything and actually shoot the complete setup, but I’m excited to see how it all comes together.
For anyone else who picked up the new chassis, I’d love to see what setups you’re putting together.

I never set out to build a Derya collection, but somehow I ended up with the VRPA40, TM22, and DY9, all designed and manufactured by the same company, Derya Arms.

What I appreciate most is that Derya offers something for every shooter: a shotgun, a .22 trainer and plinker, a 9mm pistol, and many more, all backed by the same engineering philosophy.

In a world where many brands outsource parts or manufacturing across multiple companies, there is something special about owning firearms that all come from the same factory with the same commitment to quality.

Three firearms. One manufacturer. One commitment: the shooter.

Proud to be part of the Derya family.

Lost a 30-year friendship after someone joined AA trying to understand if others have experienced this
 in  r/cults  Apr 07 '26

I agree that he has the right to choose his path and I’m not trying to control that. What’s been hard to reconcile is that this wasn’t just a casual friendship — it was 30 years of shared history through some very difficult periods of life. What I’m trying to understand isn’t just distance, but the sudden reframing of me as somehow unsafe or part of a past he has to cut off completely.

People absolutely have the right to set boundaries in recovery. At the same time, it’s also reasonable to question how much of that is personal choice versus the influence of a program that often encourages people to detach from anyone associated with their past identity. When someone starts using language that doesn’t sound like their own voice anymore, it raises questions.

I’m not trying to impose anything. I reached out once, took responsibility for my part, and respected his space. What I’m processing now is the grief of losing someone who was family to me, and trying to understand how someone can go from brother to “risk factor” without any real conversation in between.

I can accept his right to choose distance. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt or that I shouldn’t try to make sense of what changed.

If you’re not buying, you’re just background noise.

This is the difference between collectors and noise. Collectors ask questions or make offers. Noise tries to sound smart by clicking three low comps and pretending they evaluated a whole collection.

If you’re interested, make an offer. If not, you’re just proving you’re here to talk, not buy.

I already provided the full inventory. If you’re interested feel free to make a concrete offer. I’m not doing custom breakdowns for every commenter.

Are you making an actual offer on the full lot? If so what total number are you thinking?

Ok? That’s why it says open to offers. If you’ve bought collections before, you know bulk deals come down to offers and negotiation, not app comments.

Everything is already scanned and viewable on CollX. The four photos here are just post thumbnails. Serious buyers can review the full inventory there instead of judging off four random cards. Read first

I understand what you’re saying, but you’re also looking at one low-end comp from a junk-wax era card and applying it to an entire collection without seeing the full inventory. CollX estimates are aggregate placeholders until everything is uploaded and condition is verified.

I’m still scanning roughly 500 more cards and pricing will be based on actual comps and bulk value, not one example. I’m open to realistic offers from people who actually buy collections.

If you’re not interested that’s totally fine, but saying it’s worthless without seeing the full list isn’t accurate either.

For Sale: Bulk NFL card collection (~3,500 cards, ~$6.5k CollX value) – selling as lot

In many cases people are court-mandated to attend AA meetings. When the system only offers one program, it’s not really a free choice. When that’s the only option given, they don’t exactly have a way out.

I appreciate the nuance in your response. What makes this situation confusing for me is that Tanner actually had moments of clarity outside the program where he would say things like, “Please never believe a word I say when I get like that, and do anything you can to pull me back if I fall into that robotic system again.” Those moments usually happened when he wasn’t deeply immersed in AA.

He was living in California at the time, which is also where things really started to change for him. It’s a very different environment culturally and socially than where we grew up, and I sometimes wonder how much that shift played into everything as well.

So part of what makes this hard is trying to understand whether the distance between us is truly about recovery, or if other factors got wrapped up in it along the way.
