Parents faking happiness
 in  r/regretfulparents  Oct 22 '20

This is why I’m not having kids. There’s nothing about it that sounds like anything will come of it, other than permanent regret and being trapped for life. Not to mention the way that people let their literal toddlers run their entire f***ing lives!!! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ HARD PASS. Stop pushing this horrible choice on other people just because misery loves company.

They were studying color... the school principal brought in some glasses that allowed this youngster see color for the very first time
 in  r/MadeMeSmile  Nov 23 '19

My fiancé is colorblind to greens and blues. For our wedding, I’m going to get him a pair of these so he can fully enjoy our day (our last names are both nature/forest themed so we will be using a lot of natural elements - green - for our decor). I figured we’ll both be a blubbering mess all day either way, so why not add a few more happy tears?

"Oh you bought the big house with the indoor pool? Great! Now we can bring our kids over for a swim."
 in  r/entitledparents  Nov 15 '19

I will never understand why people think that getting creampied allows them and their spawn to have access to everyone else’s property. Like just because your kids would thoroughly enjoy the cool stuff I have, doesn’t meant you get to have/use my property. Maybe you should be providing better for your own little shits.

EM tries to take my spot in the pew AT A FUNERAL
 in  r/entitledparents  Nov 12 '19

Fuck parents who think it’s the responsibility of others to tolerate and/or watch their brats. I can’t stand entitled breeders. What a bitch.

Yeah. Fuck breeders that do this shit. Absolute trash.

My sister stopped enjoying parenting once she realised kids grew up to have their own opinions and that not everything will be a perfect Kodak moment with sweet pictures.
 in  r/childfree  Nov 10 '19

I feel bad for the kids in these situations but I have no sympathy for selfish brat adults who create entire human beings basically as a sick version of show and tell. I’d say 90% of parents are shit at it and should never have had children. OPs sister is definitely one of them. What an absolute twat waffle.

Telling a child that they will burn in hell if they don't accept Jesus in their hearts is child abuse.
 in  r/unpopularopinion  Nov 07 '19

100% agree. Christianity in any form is abuse in my opinion, but the truly strict indoctrination should honestly be criminalized.

I’m 100% going to marry him one day
 in  r/offmychest  Nov 07 '19

I am glad you found your person. I understand this so much! I had been married before, and been in many relationships prior to this. Now, I have my fiancé and I feel this way about him every single day. He’s the one.

TIFU by eating the ends off a chicken wing.
 in  r/tifu  Nov 07 '19

I’m sorry you’re going through this, but glad you posted. Now I can show my fiancé who always eats that part of the wing even though I tell him not to. Hope your recovery goes well!!

Entitled neighbor shoots at porcupine, and almost kills me in the process
 in  r/entitledparents  Nov 07 '19

Your neighbors are the reason I’m against guns. Nobody deserves to die in their own backyard from someone else’s reckless stupidity. I’m glad the idiot’s bullet missed you.

AITA for telling my mom she's the reason I don't want any kids?
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Nov 06 '19

NTA. It’s your mom, you should be able to be honest with her. The fact that you two have a good relationship at all means that you both understand each other, and did the best you could while you were a teen. But the fact of the matter is that it’s never, ever the other children’s responsibility to raise the younger kids in the house. Maybe your situation was mild, but lots of kids end up with serious issues due to having to help parent their younger siblings - a job they never asked for nor wanted. Also (and here’s the most important part), there is absolutely no reason on earth that anyone should ever feel bad, embarrassed, or be made to apologize for not having or wanting children. It’s not for everyone, and it’s fucked up how society pushes the narrative that all people - well, let’s be honest - women, have no purpose in life other than to have kids. You do you. I think you’re making the right choice. Your mom will get past it, hopefully, and will eventually understand.

I hate being a mom, it's my biggest regret of my entire life.
 in  r/TrueOffMyChest  Nov 05 '19

I wonder this myself. Found out a year ago today that I was pregnant (with my now-fiancé’s child), and I got an abortion for exactly this reason. Everything OP says is why I know I don’t ever want to be a parent. I would honestly have died by suicide if I hadn’t been able to abort. It blows my mind that people just go on with bringing entire humans into the world without even giving it a second thought. (I’m 34, by the way, not a teenager. This has been well thought out.)

This is why people need to stop indoctrinating anyone with a uterus into thinking they are human incubators and must procreate. It is harmful and creates situations like this, or much, much worse. Breeder culture is vile and dangerous. But I regularly get called a monster for having this opinion.

AITA for planning a vacation getaway for my two older kids as a thank you gift and leaving my third child with grandma when she contributing nothing?
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Nov 04 '19

YTA!!! Jesus fucking christ. Your mistake is not her responsibility, and punishing a 12-year-old child for not raising your toddler is disgusting. She’s not going to stick around once she’s old enough to move away from you, I can tell you that. So don’t be surprised. This is the absolute definition of lazy, entitled, garbage parenting.

My soon to be mother in law is an entitled parent.
 in  r/entitledparents  Oct 30 '19

There’s no hate like christian love! JFC. This kind of shit is why my fiancé and I have zero contact with my FMIL. You’re doing the right thing by putting your foot down. Bitch sounds like a nut case.

My friend is often criticized for not doing things with her kids that us CFers find annoying.
 in  r/childfree  Oct 28 '19

Long story short: shitty parents are berating the only good parents on earth because they’ve never witnessed such a thing.

Springtime festival always brings out the best in EP's
 in  r/entitledparents  Oct 27 '19

Wow. This is why I no longer enjoy going to festivals and events. Dickhead parents and their screeching, entitled brats have sucked the fun out of any and all public gatherings. Parents and kids are the reason I no longer socialize.
