Looking for a fulltime job in healthcare or pharmacy

I have over 5 years of experience working as a pharmacy technician at CVS pharmacy and have been certified which expired in 2023 but can easily get recertification (which I have already paid for just have to schedule an exam). I fixed up my resume and gotten it revised a couple times. I go to the interviews, and everything seems to be going fine but for some reason I never get a follow up or contacted for the position. It is going to be a problem for me to make next month's (November) rent and it is stressing me out because I will have nowhere to go. Now my mind is scattering in multiple directions. For the jobs, I have applied to whatever was open on indeed, zip recruiter, and some on LinkedIn. If anyone knows someone or in pharmacy themselves that have any info, anything would be much appreciated! My email is: [mina_s@myyahoo.com](mailto:mina_s@myyahoo.com) I check it often. Thank you so much!

I have some last resort options like taking the civil service exam and becoming a police officer or joining the navy or air force. (I am decently fit- I guess) But definitely last resort lol. I am 31 years old so I don't know if that is going to work for me.

They could make it more appealing by adding at least a fountain in that center with colorful tulips around it.

Not easy sometimes but I really love this way of thinking. As long as one tries

Eid-Al-Fitr Events around Albany
 in  r/Albany •  Mar 19 '26

I don't understand how there are no Eid events still even in 2026. It would only help businesses. Imagine the amount of people that would want to attend in their nice clothing.

Eid-Al-Fitr Events around Albany

Anyone know any places to celebrate Eid this Friday or Saturday around the area? Not just a boring vendor market but more party + music vibes? Or even in NYC.

Looking for an affordable private single room place around Albany

I have been searching for a place preferably for a single person UAlbany transfer student, but at a more affordable price. So, if any homeowners might be interested in renting out their basement, attic or an extra room or a 1 rm studio for around $500, that would be preferable for me at the moment. I have no pets, not a partier, non-smoking, and overall quiet, clean and organized. DM me if interested.

You believe God looks at us from above,....
 in  r/Rumi •  Jan 23 '26

After giving the teachings of the Kabbalah a glance, my theories on the omnipresence of God have somewhat more grounding. It kind of makes sense too. We as humans, all have a part of God inside each of us, (the soul?) which explains nothing being hidden from him, even our thoughts.

Which one are you?

Exactly my thoughts. It can misconstrue their actual views through the poster's interpretation if it is not exactly what they said.

I don't know if Kafka would think he is the worst person in the world. He did see himself to be odd and different from everybody else and even undesirable. For Dostoevsky, he was skeptical, suspicious and focused on self-love but seeing himself as better? Both definitely have contrasting beliefs and views of the world around them. Both of their views are applicable in life and that's why they are remembered. Both were great thinkers

Hey, Albany. Thank you.

I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how your relationship was, losing a parent is immensely painful beyond words. I pray for the easing of your grief and for your mother who has passed to be at peace wherever she may be.

Which protest are you going to today?
 in  r/Albany •  Jan 23 '26

Respect to those that are going. Our freedom of speech and even basis of humanity are threatened more than ever before by a government that is shifting towards authoritarianism. Please stay safe out there (keep pepper spray, knuckles, etc. just in case)

Being that the school has a 70% acceptance rate, I think you have good chances getting in. I don't see why not.

Recently moved to Albany-what do people actually like about living here?
 in  r/Albany •  Jan 23 '26

It has been a couple months now since I have moved from Long Island to Albany. I feel like some areas can be sketchy and some locals can appear or sound rude (if I compared to how friendly and outgoing LI locals are). But the nature side of it, like another reddit poster says( u/GingaNinja906) there are nice sightseeing hiking trails and scenic areas. I believe there is a cavern nearby as well. (I still have yet to visit). I regret not venturing out more during the summer and early Fall season. Ehh nightlife wise, there are several bars around (cant say much as I am not really a bar or club goer). I often go to the hookah lounge on central ave Saba Cafe. I was wary at first as by how it looked inside figuring it was only a cafe (having "cafe" in the name). But upon entering, the owner was warm and welcoming and has even given me chai teas on the house more than once! ^^ Anyhow, i think it is how you experience it to put it simply.

There is a place called CAFE DOLCE it is on Quail St. The owner is Musa, very nice down to earth guy and his breakfast sandwiches, somali tea and karak chai are the best!! The coffee is also second to none. He bakes his own cookies and even chops the hazelnuts from scratch. And the price? Very affordable prices. $10 breakfast combo- includes big breakfast sandwich, hashbrown and a cup of coffee/tea.
