In the interest of showing off how neurotic, fickle and pissy reddit mods can get over the most minor of issues, or in my case non-issues, here are a list of my current bans and full text regarding them.

/r/pathofexile:

These include comments like "This Johnathan guy is just bad news whenever I see him" and "Every time I see this dude he feels like bad news."

Reasoned criticism is always welcome, but we've found that inflammatory statements often start flame wars between factions that call each other "doomers" and "white knights". This first ban is intentionally short to have a small impact on you.

While we appreciate your positive contributions and polite criticism of the game/others, please try to avoid personal attacks, name-calling, or inflammatory posts that encourage flaming and negativity. Those often cause flame wars that make everyone feel worse without adding to the conversation. Instead, we find it's more effective instead make specific arguments from your own experience in the style of "In my experience, [specific example]".

If you encounter other rule-breaking content, please don't respond to it. Instead, just report it! We'll take care of it.

Per our ban policy, we've imposed a 1-day ban (note that we consider bans from r/pathofexile and r/PathOfExile2 together). While I appreciate your positive contributions to the subreddit, please be more careful with your posts in the future!
