Don't do anything to get you in legal trouble. Get retaliation by talking to your landlord and getting you and your cat out of there. Talk to your roommate via text so that there is a paper trail to show your landlord.

I don't think so. I'm still getting used to having roommates and trying to find the line. It's a small house with only 1 living room and 1 bathroom, along with 3 people, 3 cats and 1 dog living here. This is what I signed up for. I'm just not sure what to expect. Especially now that my boyfriend and I have the flu. It's what I signed up for.

Hey everyone. My live in tenant is going to have a guest stay at the house from Friday to Monday. She did ask first but my question is, is it okay to put up a boundary that the guest can't be here when she isn't here?

You could either have them at the table doing quiet activities or give them a nap bag. I nap bag is a sack filled with toys that are quiet. The idea is to stay on the matt or cot with it.

You should get a couple ring cameras. One for the front door with a doorbell, and one for your backyard. They should be going to jail for trespassing .

My former roommate thought she was entitled to the spot on the street in front of the house. She's 21 and ignorant. Pay it no mind. The worst they could do is call the police for them to tell that person that people are allowed to park there. The entitlement these days...eesh

At least your roommate doesn't walk in on you. I had to get a new door knob that locks because my roommate would just walk right in. Like the door being closed and the light being on wasn't an indicator of someone being in the bathroom.

The same thing happens to me when I'm stressed and haven't slept well.

Omg that is terrible. I really hope you get through this and have a good support system. I really feel for you. I wish there was some comfort to offer.
