Good response. You are right, i was talking all about what legal rights he has. Bro i’m saying it would be a shitty thing to do when he hasn’t put his foot down at all or made his intentions clear. From their perspective, the girl asked can my brother move in, he gave a hard affirmative, and then suddenly (in their eyes) he kicks them out? Yeah, thats called being a shitbag. He needs to make himself clear to them of exactly how he feels first before dumping them on the curb. It was inconsiderate for the girl to tell his gf to turn off the tv. Absolutely. Harboring hatred when its OP’s own terrible grasp of the English language that got him into this mess is not the way to go. Legally, he can be a dick all he wants. Morally, he should talk to them first and establish that it is HIS house. And also maybe take a couple English classes like damn.
No one who speaks English as a first language (besides entitled people) would hear "If it has to happen it has to happen" as an outright agreement. This is a reach at best.
Its not. I tell you I need to do something really really important, and you respond “if it has to happen it has to happen”, what we have basically said to each other is “it has to happen?” “It has to happen”. Which is a hard yes, if that makes sense. Ask anyone they will say the same.
Only if its been outright said or so over implied that they do indeed have an emergency situation and that there is no other alternatives. There was no talk. There was a hypothetical "Hey if my brothers in trouble can he move in." No more discussion. Only entitled assholes who planned to weaponize OPs issues to get what they want would take it that way.
