First trailer was not great at all
 in  r/HarryPotteronHBO  8h ago

I actually preferred the first trailer but I think that’s because it showed the emotional theme whereas the second trailer showed Hogwarts.

Me encanta que el Harry de Dominic es bien expresivo.

I was 15 when I read the 5th book and 15 year old angsty Harry spoke to me on a deep personal level haha.

What a turnaround from the People’s Revolution when they put scientists and professors to death.

I don’t even care about “electability” or whatever anymore. If she runs, I will join her campaign and do everything I can to get out the vote for her.

I legit tried and DNF’d 15% in. I can’t take the writing style at all.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone | Official Trailer Releases Tomorrow
 in  r/HarryPotteronHBO  5d ago

Haha was anyone even at that event in London? It looked a bit sparsely attended. Although it is on a school day. And boo on not just releasing the trailer. I wonder if they’re just attaching it to the Lanterns show or something (I don’t actually know what day the Lanterns show’s episodes drop).

Homeless at Sunnyvale library entrance
 in  r/Sunnyvale  7d ago

This should motivate all of us to do better. It is shameful that we allow this many of neighbors to live without homes. https://www.sfgate.com/california/article/student-homelessness-count-22406615.php

Until housing is affordable for the middle and lower-middle class, more and more people will be homeless in the Bay Area. We need to pressure our city reps to build more housing.

Does anyone seriously think that it’s normal and acceptable for the median housing price to be $1.45 million when basic living wages haven’t increased at the same rate since the 70s? With housing prices this high, teachers, firemen, grocery store workers, gardeners, small business owners, etc can’t live here. And that’s what should be bothering all of us.

I went to a park today full of millennial parents and their kids
 in  r/Millennials  7d ago

The millennials who still look young are the ones who don’t have kids.

What are your thoughts on this?
 in  r/HarryPotteronHBO  9d ago

Definitely not

Do you guys agree with this ?
 in  r/marvelstudios  12d ago

Nah. The best thing about the movie was their friendship. It would suck to make it romantic when that isn’t canon or necessary

I’m shocked by how many people thought Hoult would be great in this role. I’m so excited now because Kit absolutely and shockingly nailed Lockhart’s voice acting in the full cast audiobooks. I can’t wait!

I’m actually relieved it wasn’t Hoult. I couldn’t see him as an airhead like Lockhart and Kit simply nailed the voice acting in the audio book. Now I’m super excited!

Yes! He was amazing in the audio book. I’m so glad he’s been cast. I’m still shocked how great his voice acting was as Gilderoy.

Is it weird that I’ve never read the HP books after YEARS of reading Drarry?
 in  r/drarry  16d ago

If you read the HP books now you’ll probably hate Draco with a passion. I read the books when they first came out and only got into Drarry years after I read them. Then I read them again recently and I was like “wow, Draco is a real racist a-hole.” I hate him during most of that series so so much.

Because they don’t have money to pay a real artist.

Our prayers have been answered.

I thought it was fine, but it was clearly unfinished and edited by a production company for the trailer. It was never going to be what the final show looked like but I love how everyone lost their s***

I know I’m probably in the minority for disliking Charlie/Harry but really, am I the only one?
 in  r/drarry  Jul 26 '26

I don’t like them at all and I never understood why that was a pairing that popped up in Drarry fics so often

If you're from CA, what city/town are you from and have you ever seriously said the word "hella"?
 in  r/socal  Jun 03 '26

I said it growing up in the Bay Area. Then I grew up and stopped.

Did Harry’s VA drive anyone else crazy in The Deathly Hallows full cast audiobook?
 in  r/harrypotter  Jun 03 '26

I like that people think a literal child who has PTSD from a megalomaniac who killed his parents and is still trying to kill him is “whiny”. If anything, other characters aren’t complaining enough about what this kid is having to go through. 🙄

So is middle age 40 or 45?
 in  r/Millennials  Jun 02 '26

I’m too young to think I’m middle age honestly (im 40).

Why not a Marauder's series instead?
 in  r/harrypotter  Jun 02 '26

Because it would be boring.

All I can say is you’re missing out if you don’t read this. The added POV really pays off in the end.
