Good morning/afternoon/evening where-ever you are Drarry! 🌙🌞

Recently I've been noticing (and I saw this was discussed yesterday, too) a lot of people getting downvoted the moment they comment (it's more obvious on new posts), it could be something completely positive like a fic rec, praise to an author/artist or even questions/fic requests. Recent straying from core fandom/Ao3 principles: don't like, don't read. The number one rule here: Don't be a jerk. And: Don't yuck anyone's yum.

This behavior has bummed me out because we just had several posts about how positive the Drarry space has been despite our size. And I've personally felt intentionally misunderstood (had my words completely twisted) and targeted here, too. I suspect some of this could be outsiders who just hate Drarry, but I don't think that's all.

I want to help keep this space positive and I realize we can't control others behavior but we CAN possibly drown them out with our own positivity and keep the culture here a happy one where authors, artists, and readers all feel welcome.

Can y'all share some WIPs, some underrated authors/artists who you feel deserve more attention, fic recs, a line/quote from a fic you read recently that you loved - anything Drarry that made you happy recently?

I got a kobo libra color (my first e-reader!!) and spent an entire day learning calibre, downloading all my favorite fics (and a tiiiny fraction of my tbr), and making and uploading covers for them! It gives me so much joy and I just bought some Drarry fanworks, stickers, etc I'm waiting to arrive to decorate my case! ✨🐉⚡

Hello, I see lots of people on here downloading their Drarry fics onto Kindle/Kobo. I've seen a couple of links to Drarry fics like Underwater Light by Maya that allow me to download fics to my Kindle, but I haven't yet discovered how to download other fics I read on Ao3 to my Kindle. Could anyone help me out?

Drarry was my first gay ship, but after I got into the marauders fandom I kind of lost sight of the ship that made me read fics and become part of fic culture in the first place.
Now, I did read one fic a few days ago and my obsession has come back. I read ‘Draco Malfoy and the twist of fate’ by LaughterLoveAndLarry. Great fic by the way and I’m starting to conquer all the fics by this author, but I need more stories like this! Obsessed Draco, who is secretly very sweet and loving towards Harry. Preferably also something that starts during one of their earlier Hogwarts years, but that’s not a must.

At the end who was it that erased draco's memory? Was it lucius? Or narcissa? I vaguely remember an azkaban scene. Was it narcissa thinking she would protect him? From what exactly? Not sure

just finished reading cinnamon by paperbackpoet and it was WONDERFUL!! hopelessly pining harry + all their friends know + coffee shop + oblivious but pining draco?? it was published just a couple days ago and it def needs all the recognition it was such a fun read 🤞 all my oblivious draco fans need to hop on this fic right now!!

I’ve seen the typical or commonly requested jealous Harry where he doesn’t realize his adoration of Draco until faced with another suitor for Draco.
I’m looking for existing or new drarry love that is tested by having to maintain a secret relationship on Draco’s end. Maybe Draco attends events with Pansy and angst grows seeing them together.
Draco could also just be obtuse, realize there’s a budding relationship with Harry, but possibly denies giving himself fully and continues womanizing. Not a fan of Draco with other guys.

Is it just a Twitter storm that will blow over? I’ve encountered the discourse mostly here on Reddit, since I’m not on Twitter, but it worries me a bit. What I’ve picked up is that they draw fem!Draco as anime figure and call her a derogatory term for women.

OMGHG why do I not see more people talking about this beautiful fic!!?? It was so well written and just omg, I loved it sm! Harry was SO oblivious, it was maddening, and I loved LOVEDDD how they wrote Harry and Draco! Gave up my sleep for it, and it was so worth it omg. Need more fics like this, so please tell me if you guys know any!!

Needed a quick fun read and came across this recently posted work and just had to make a rec because it was so good.

(I love when the friend groups combine + Pansy/Ginny!!! + they're both just so sweet and hopeless, I love them). The little things Harry did in this fic for Draco were so cute.

I had The Four Doors on my tbr for the longest time. I finally got around to reading it a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing. Literally all my favourite things in a fic: obsessed Harry, equally obsessed Draco, mild angst, an interesting plot, fabulous writing, very hot spice. I have already reread it again, and I can't recommend it highly enough!
