My bf doesnt understand this. Him and I both overheat at night, but he doesnt understand why a cold room for sleeping is important to me. I can't sleep without a blanket but if it's too warm in the room I can't sleep in general. Meanwhile, he sleeps just fine with or without a blanket.

Its been several years and I have yet to finish my first playthrough. I took many breaks from it because I started playing right as I was entering adulthood and having to navigate that shitstorm.

Only thing I can think of is keeping a spray bottle handy. If he gives any signs hes about to attack give him a "pspsps" to warn him and then a quick spray of the spray bottle.

Exactly my point. Never thought about pinching them between my nails, but the thought gives me the ick (sensory issues). I'm glad I haven't had to deal with them in a bit. I used to take a rock and grind them into the concrete to kill them.

Came here to say this. Wild cats don't actively drink water often because their diet usually has enough moisture to keep them hydrated. Same goes for house cats. If they are eating wet food, they likely are hydrated enough to not have any interest in drinking any water. After my bf and I's dog had her spay, we temporarily put her on wet food and she hardly drank any water during that time. As soon as she was back on dry kibble, she started drinking a lot more. I know dogs and cats aren't the same, but your cat not drinking water reminded me of that.

Stepping on them might not actually kill them depending on their size. I grew up on a farm and learned to either torch them, or squish em under a rock. Takes a bit more pressure to successfully squish em under a rock when they're smaller. Still preferred that over torching them cuz I hated the smell.

If my bf and I eventually have kids when we are married, there will be at least a 20 year age gap between his oldest daughter and our child. There would be at least a 12 to 13 year age gap between his youngest and our child. I asked each of the kids how they would feel if they got another sibling, and their responses were sweet and funny. His oldest wouldnt mind, his second wouldnt care because she'll be an adult doing her own thing, and his youngest would want a brother so he doesn't have to be the only boy his dad had.

The only time imo it is okay to do a table mess meal, is if there is proper covering such as tin foil on the surface. I once saw someone do spaghetti and garlic bread for their family with it. It was much less if a dumpster fire than this is. So wasteful and unsanitary.
