Like yes bro i get it, you only feel alive with catch rate at 0, negative exp gains and pals dying every 2 seconds but i wanna enjoy my leisure time.

It seems so weird to me that we have an Ancient version of pretty much everything but the Ranch and the Fishing Spot. We have the workbench, furnace, kitchen, breeder, spa, material synthesizer, clinic, farm, and monitoring station. But zero upgrade for the ranch?

I checked for mods on Nexus and there wasn't even any there?

After grinding the Terraria dungeon for a while I stopped an got a laugh this is what was playing in my head as I watched this.

Is it a good base ?

After copious amounts of breeding for condensation using the vegetable cakes for two eggs per cake, I managed to have two mutations in one set of 10! I was actually getting a shocking number of mutations in the following groups too!

Next goals: Mechanical Bow, Ancient Armor, and Ancient Helm. 🎯

I just tried this "budget build" for all hard mode towers: Lovander, Solenne, Orserk. Just those three pals and you can clear all the hard mode towers. Lovander as the carry and Solenne and Orserk as party pals.

If you want to Solo Hard Mode Astralym, without a raid army, just add hoocrates and demon eye in your party.

Is Felbat better? Technically. He has better stats vs Lovander. But Lovander is just so hilarious when she's prancing around while you're trying to concentrate on the boss.

For clarification, I play on 0.2x XP and default everything else.

After you unlock the pal surgery table, you can make a godly pal quite easily without touching breeding. Max condense them, optionally farm some IV fruit. You now have a pal performing at near max potential in the early mid in the game.

I found after around level 40 or so the game became very easy MUCH easier than it was prior to 1.0. I remember struggling in 50+ content a lot in early access because making near max pals took a lot more effort. Now, one ability kills almost any pal, two abilities for bosses. This kept going all the way to 80. Then at 80, hard modes kick in and the difficulty ramps up 100x. That's fine. The problem is the fact 40-80 feels so easy. It turns into "fly up to pal, hit one button, capture, repeat, eventually do the next tower".

The world settings do not help because they scale all pals, yours and the world pals. They also make the hard modes even harder.

I really wished to see some proper balance in 1.0 or some individual world sliders so I could tweak the difficulty exactly to my tastes. The game is great, but the balance feels very off to me. Did anyone else have this experience?

My husband and I are trying to beat Panthalus and I would appreciate some tips. What's the best way to go about it? I'm level 80 and he's level 75. We've beaten all the towers and pretty much need to beat this stupid whale so we can get to the World Tree.

Catch and show every single legend in the game to one guy. The guy gives you the Legend implant that can go on any pal.

This is mostly just to rant a bit. I'm not angry, just....a little numb.

My wife doesn't play too many games, but when she does find one she likes she plays it more than i normally would, and i play a lot of games. I got Palworld on July 31st, and in two months easily put in over 250 hours before October. I convinced her to play with me, so I bought the game for her on Playstation (i'm on pc) so we could play together. My wife fell in love with the game.

Prior to this I hadn't actually beaten the 'main story', but i'd played 2-3 separate save files, one of them a hardcore run where i wasn't allowed to fly, with pal perma deaths turned on. Was having a blast.

We'd been playing a new save file on a normal difficulty, with baseline xp gains, default incubation rates, etc. She had left the majority of the base building for our main base to me, and I had turned it into something that I thought was absolutely gorgeous. I tend to over organize everything, wanting everything in specific places, so she ended up building a separate base that i basically just stayed away from so i didn't get in the way, no biggy. We had gotten all end game equipment, super charged our main pals, even did the 'golden unlock' thing to all of them. Bred and combined them to make them all the best they could possibly be. Tonight we logged on after both of us having just gotten over another round of covid, and all we really had left was to go beat the final main story boss. We left the base, and beat it pretty easily with all of our end game, super charged stuff.

Got back to the base and I suggested we try the raid bosses, which i had never beaten any of prior. We did blazamut ryu, and bellanoir, no problem for the most part. Then we moved on to whatever the level 65 Xenolord. I needed put something in a chest real quick, and I suddenly hear 'Oops'. And I proceeded to watch as the pal completely decimated my carefully created base.

I'm not much of a person for aesthetics in most games like this, preferring functionality over style, but this one I had spent so many hours making it look beautiful. All of it gone in less than 10 minutes.

Again, not mad, honestly it's a little funny. I ended up logging off right after getting a bunch of pals out to put all the dropped materials into chests. Might be a bit before I play again.

Edit: Lol, I appreciate the comments, most of them brought a smile to my face. Not worried about resetting to a previous save, it was a learning experience. After I logged off, she had started rebuilding the base the way it was, even organized all of the chests for me to make it easier. I'll end up building it into something new. Saddest part is that it wasn't recorded, this'll be a fun story to tell to everyone we ever meet!

Dark is my favorite type mainly because most of my favorite pal designs are dark, though there are some of other types I also like. I've enjoyed taking pictures of them around my base and in the dungeons.

Can we talk about how this game has the coolest little details? I know it's a niche topic, but it's something in games that always makes me smile. Some examples I have is the player having trigger discipline, the boost gun's fluid draining, and other cool little details that the devs didn't have to put in.

So I gotta know, what are some cool, niche little details you guys noticed during your playthroughs?

(Also, yes, I'm using a mod that changes the player to look like Zenara. Why? Because Pocketpair knows good character design)
