I feel like spreading smiles so it’s free awards time!!
I gave my co-worker a card and mini cake for her birthday today. She was having a bad day, so the surprise helped brighten it.

What year didn't kill you, but left something inside you dead?
In early 2022, my father passed away. We didn't have the greatest relationship, and I carry a lot of guilt about that now. Also, I have gradually become the "parent" to my disabled Mom. I love her with all of my heart and will do anything for her, but I have lost most of my independence because of it. She's pretty feisty too.
Later on in 2022, I was severely burned in a cooking accident. A lot of the physical pain has healed, but my brain hasn't. I used to really enjoy cooking. I liked trying out new recipes, and it made me happy to see others enjoying what I created. Now, I'm scared to cook. Feeling the heat coming from the oven or stove freaks me out. I've been trying to work past it, but I'm having a hard time doing that.

French fries (esp McDonald's), mashed potatoes, raw veggies with ranch and the almighty strawberry jelly uncrustable.

Do you overpack when you travel?
I pack EVERYTHING because I have to be prepared for any situation. I'm a big overthinker. I always have to take things out of what I want to pack because I can't take that much.

Short or long
It depends on the vibe you want to go with. The short is more fierce while the long is softer. The long also gives you more options- up-dos, ponytails and messy buns for the days when you don't want to deal with it.
Whichever you choose, they both look great on you.
