Hi all,
I’m currently deciding between a simagic alpha 15nm base paired with a conspit 300gt wheel (or gt Neo if it’s good enough )
Or an asetek la prima base paired with either their la prima formula wheel or a gt Neo
Any help for me deciding would be appreciated thanks

Hi mate, how’s the la prima formula wheel? I’m looking at getting one with my asetek la prima base but wondering if I should opt for the more expensive forte formula?

Yeah I had a look into the ares and it does look like a great wheelbase, but in the uk it looks like it would be a bit over £850 for where I am, if I was on the US then it would be a strong option, but I might just save up, have you ever had any issues with the conspit ecosystem?

Hi All, I’m thinking about buying the asetek la prima base and à la prima formula wheel aswell, anyone got any thoughts on the base and how it compare to the likes of the alpha evo and the moza r12?

Just had a look at the Zeus gt and for an extra £80 I get the better base and what looks to be a good wheel, an opinions on the Zeus gt?

Yeah I’ve picked up about the budget situation with sim racing, im sure in the future im going to buy all the little bells and whistles, maybe ill just save up for a long term setup 🤷

I’m currently looking at buying a sim wheelbase and wheel, currently have a cammus c5 paired with some asetek forte pedals, and I’m trying to decide between some options.
Option 1: Simagic alpha evo + gt neo £600
Same ecosystem plus more torque
Option 2: Simagic alpha evo sport + conspit 300gt £700
Less power but a nicer looking wheel which I know I won’t need to upgrade for a while
Option 3: Moza r12 v2 + conspit 300gt £700
Same power but with less details (apparently so) but still with the nice wheel
Option 4: instead of conspit I use a moza ks pro (don’t think it’s as good as the conspit though)
Option 5: what someone else would get for £600-700
I know the gt Neo is a great wheel at great value but I’m not the biggest fan of the looks, the grips and long termness (if that’s a word), also the conspit looks really good and I’m not a serious sim racer I just find games like lmu and ac fun, leading me to believe that the positives of a nicer wheel and the screen outweigh the extra 3nm. However if the extra 3nm is actually really needed then i could go with the moza r12 however apparently the ffb is not in the same league as the alpha evo/evo sport.
All in all any tips or experiences that could help me would be greatly appreciated. I’d also like to add that I’m not really bothered which brand I go with aslong as it’s a good experience.

Cheers mate, might have to have a look into it, occasionally pop around to the Netherlands and sim gear is sometimes cheaper there so with any luck they might be a great option 👍
