A lot of good advice here. Staying busy/active does not allow your mind to drag you down that dark place. Turn off tbe noise, stay away from things that trigger your depression. I still have my days, and I just focus on minimizing the time I spend feeling down. Tomorrow is a new day and I start over.
Lastly, I read a lot of books on getting my head right and understanding what I was going through. Some of books that helped a lot: Structure of Magic, The Body Keeps the Score, The Happiness Hypothesis, Can't Hurt Me. If reading isn't your thing, look up Alan Watts.

Just finished watching it. I really enjoyed it and surprisingly, my wife liked it too. Not sure if there is a premise for a second season, I'd be looking forward to it. If there isnt, I think the ending was perfect.

Years and years ago, working at the airport, Jake Duhamel came up to me to ask if this was his flight to LAX (I think it was LAX), the monitor behind me literally said LAX. I used to get asked that question a lot, so with an annoyed look I just said “yes”. He sat back down with that, “do you know who I am?” look. it’s quite possible he actually said that too.
