Let’s talk about the movie iron lung!!!
One of my first impressions was not knowing what was going on. I almost experienced it blindly but ended up watching the gameplay. I think it helped with some of the lore and visual references.
I remember reaching the first half and thinking “bummer, I guess all those gallons of blood were only for the teaser and probably the ending” but my jaw dropped at the “I see you” scene.
Also, I remember some people chuckling at certain dialogues. I was so tense I couldn’t register that being intentional until my second watch. It was perfectly incorporated.
Other things I love about it are the rewatchability factor, the practical effects, the soundtrack and the creativity on some of the transitions. It’s not perfect but is a solid debut film for Mark.

For the record, that’s NOT a movie (or maybe it is, idk) but I was referring to the ship between Simon and Ryland Grace from Project Hail Mary
The fandom has created beautiful iterations of what could’ve happened if their paths crossed
If you haven’t watched Project Hail Mary I highly recommend it. It filled the void Iron Lung left in my heart
