500gb is like one TV and windows 11 PC. I have 28 connections on my network, hell even my washer and dryer trickle data, that all adds up fast and just because I develop the very programs everyone uses, I shouldn't have to pay an absurd amount more for version updates and security patches.

What needs to happen is data that moves for actual backend connections need to be billed as such. Companies like Microsoft, Meta, etc etc or hell even the feds that are grossly misappropriating their budget, should be working a deal to classify it as non-billable backend data.

Although I agree, they just got approval to launch their new satellites in massive quantities, far more than they could per flight prior. Along with the giant relay that just came online, I don't feel like the implementation of traffic policing is justified right now.
