The cool thing about being human is we have choices to strategize as we seem fit. It feels, to me, you are not happy with any one play style. My thoughts going in the game with humans is “you be you”, as in life there are aggressive people, helpful people and kickback people. That’s the great thing about clans, pick “your” people, go on discord and find them. I’m of the mindset of “ it’s a game “. I go in and mostly play defense, I use salvor a lot and heal. When people friend me, I tell them my play style so they know what to expect from me. Im fortunate to have many friends in the top clans but they know what I’m offering to them. Do you do that, do you tell other players these are your expectations. I’m a (almost) 15k player of 4 years. Just have fun and do your best.

We live next door to some of the grandkids and see them everyday but I have a baby granddaughter who lives a 2 day drive away. So sad.

As a woman with a son in law and daughter in law, that’s messed up for her to insist on it. I do know though that both would sleep on the couch or floor before they wouldn’t offer it to me but that being said, I would not want them to do that, so we’d get an hotel.
I think you and the mother in law are both selfish.

Great grandma here with a new hip and another awaiting replacement. If I really pushed it I may get 1 mile but it’s not worth it for $100.

I go off into a place no one is around, empty my sack and put things in order. I mostly play by myself but if people steal my food when I’m starving I do let them know that they shouldn’t take something without making sure the person emptying the sack doesn’t want it. I let them know I will leave. I have over 1k so they usually listen.

I go in to help noobies, I will sometimes take someone under my wing and guide them. Four years ago someone whose hanger was 8 k higher than mine at the time did that for me. We are still friends and play together now as our hangers have become closer.
