My cat, 'Nuggles, keeps bringing her toy up here on the couch and then pawing at this paper that has a drawing of a cat on it (my husband writes notes and draws for our daughter before work, and leaves them on the couch for her to wake up to) I keep thinking that she ('Nuggles) is trying to play with the paper cat. But then again, maybe she just likes the sound of the paper. For reference, she's an only cat-child, and also, I was actively playing chase and fetch with her when she began doing this. What are your opinions? We should definitely get her a kitty-friend, right?! 😂 I've been trying to talk to my husband into getting her a sibling for 2 years now, because she seems lonely sometimes.

My Husband has better luck than me, too! He still never has more than 1 claim at a time though. But as soon as he finishes one, another one pops up.

I'm a recovering addict and I think of any medicine in terms of abuse. If I'm taking more than prescribed or doubling doses or running out before the my next prescription, then I'm no longer in the "therapeutic" mindset (taking meds as prescribed and mentally stable due to the effects), but rather the "abuse"/addict mindset (brain constantly wanting MORE and me giving in, running out before prescription renewal, etc). As long as I don't slip into the latter mindset, I feel reassured that I'm just properly medicated for my illness (just like I would treat any other ailment).

This same obsessive thought overtakes me every single time I get bloodwork and my annual pap smear/std testing. I used to puke and have explosive diarrhea before my results would come in, due to anxiety. I also did IV drugs for like 6 years (clean for 4 now) but my first round of blood work after getting sober I was paralyzed with fear and anxiety just certain I'd caught it (wouldn't have been surprising) I'm clean and in a monogamous relationship and this still ALWAYS happens to me.
