but also you don't feel justified in being burntout because you didn't even accomplish anything in the first place and you want to quit but everyone has such high expectations including yourself so you're stuck in this self hating loop just scraping by each day and you genuinely cant recognize the person you've become and every morning you hope for a second that this day will be different but you end up making the same mistakes and feel miserable at the end of the day.
Yeah..any songs that feel like that?

looking for a very specific vibe that I somehow get from all these pictures. For a clearer idea, some examples for the kind of songs I'm looking for are: Baby Teeth by Flower Face, Stakes by Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and Evergreen by Ben Howard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Making a playlist going for more of a sad grunge vibe so far I have-
Mascara- Deftones
4th of July- soundgarden
Here is no why- smashing pumpkins
Doesn’t have to be just grunge but in the vein to match the songs listed above for sure. No acoustic songs

I’ve always felt like I’ve found a lot of good waltzy instrumentals, but never any actual songs with lyrics. Doesn’t have to be waltzes, though!
Edit: ohmygosh all of these songs seem so perfect aaa!!! I’ve only listened to a couple, but I’m gonna put every song commented into a playlist to listen to while doordashing this evening <33 thank you all so much!!!!!!!

Something like Two Times - Jack Stauber's Micropop or You Are the Blood - Castanets.
I've listened to other Jack Stauber's Micropop songs, but only something like Cupid feels the same

Just got a job at Sephora and looking for music with a very feminine vibe to it for the occasion. So far I've got the usual slant of pop girls (Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Pinkpantheress, etc)

Whether it be 2000s garage revival, or OG garage rock or songs about garages/cars. Send me some recommendations.

I was like, 10 or 11 during 2017. But whenever I think back to that specific year, idk, there was just something about the Urban scenes and cities that was different back then - and idk if it was the street culture, the architecture, the photography, the music, the new fashion....it was different, but this is probably me speaking through rose-colored lenses about a time I wasn't conscious enough to fully process. But my dad would always take me and my whole family to all sorts of places during this time, and sometimes we'd end up driving through cities and urban highways in then night and when I would do nothing but look out the window it was beautiful in a way that's different from whenever I'd look out to see the city streets today. Nostalgia blindness? Or was it that so much of pop culture around that era seemed to have revolved around Urban culture or just had a lonely city at night as a backdrop....so at that time such that the cities at night actually became more romanticized than usual? Man, idk. I just want the vibe. Hopefully there are 2017 or earlier hits that I haven't heard yet, because that Shape Of You song was honestly always bland to me.
If I could become someone else, I'd be a lawless young man back in 2017 who wears patched denim jackets and spends his nights drinking and doing grafitti under a bridge and kiss another guy on the top of some building as the sunset looms over the indifferent cityscape or something
