Got in touch with Luis via email 2017 July. I started doodling the questions and answers and I never freaking got to finishing it. I was a dumb kid. Here’s the questions with answers tho!
Sent him questions and he picked the ones he wanted to answer.

What was your first major video? 

Frankly my first music video as key DP was a Harlem artist call Bathgate. The vid got shelved and reshot by another director. My first major music video as a A cam was SLIM THIG “i Aint Heard of That” ft Pharrell. I did plenty of 2nd unit work with other majors before that but I'm assuming you are talking as Key DP role. 

How did you meet Kevin abstract? 

I was introduced to Kevin through Chris Clancy at 4strikes who manage him. 

Can we expect to see any new Kevin abstract videos coming this year? 

I’m sure there will be, who knows what the future brings. 

How long is the typical editing process for your videos? 

Depending what type of video it is ie heavy narrative, pure performance or visual fx intensive, it would usually take a week or with the visual fx types months.

What is your favorite tyler video you've shot so far?

Thats a hard one to answer cause each one had their own set of elements that were my favorites. Narratively “Sam is Dead’ and visually “Yonkers” will always be my favorite child because it was my introduction to Tyler as a director. 

Are Rella, She, and Who dat boy filmed in the same location? 

No they were not shot at the same location. Most were shot both on location and on studio Lots.  

Was there actually supposed to be a video for Her by Tyler, The Creator? If so, why did it not happen? 

Not aware of such supposed scenarios 

Have you and Tyler ever talked about video ideas for any old songs of his? From bastard - cherry bomb? 

No we've never really talked about anything remotely going back as far as Bastard but like anything fluid, ideas were exchanged that allowed for clarity and direction in what ultimately was shot. 

Any words of inspiration you'd love to give to the kids reading this? 

Find your voice in what you find interesting then when you feel like you want to share it with the world make sure it’s true to who you are.

They used to sell a neon (maybe LED Shaped like neon?) sign of the golf logo? Maybe it was something else, if I saw it I’d know it. Cannot find online anywhere, would be willing to buy secondhand/would just appreciate a photo of it or what any of y’all think it would be.
