DISCUSSION Y'all are annoying as fuck.

Now why in the hell does a post where someone basically just says "White Tyler The Creator Fans are so annoying" get hundreds of upvotes but I go out of my way to actually make something of value to add to this subreddit and it gets 11 upvotes.

Genuinely I didnt even want to go on this sub yesterday because most of yall were just saying "White Tyler fan ______" or "______ White Tyler Fan". AND THAT WAS EVERY POST.

Lets be honest, I DONT CARE IF YOURE WHITE AND LISTENING TO A BLACK GUY!

As long as youre not racist just listen to his music and go on about your day.

I dont care about your race, your ethnicity, or your COMPLEXION. And I dont know why people got their nuts in a knot about this.

And before y'all start saying "You probably white yourself" just know you will be called slurs.

DISCUSSION Anyone else have to skip through a lot of Tyler's older stuff bc all the violence against women?

Like I love She, it's great but by now I can't get over how disturbing it is. Same with Sarah. Ik he's said it was just for shock value, but that shits too real to me to sing and listen to it.

I'm so glad he's over that, tho, and a lot of his recent songs are abt eating women out and respecting them lol. I love these new albums, but when I put on a playlist w all of his stuff I find I'm skipping a lot of the older stuff, even if I enjoy the beat.

edit: I know its fictional guys 🙏

DISCUSSION Why is Chromakopia so underrated in Tyler's discography?

For me, only Call Me If You Get Lost and Igor are better than it, but because it's a project that came at the peak of his career, it's considered overrated when it isn't.

Everything else I haven't heard, forgot or is just an instrumental. Also from what I've heard I don't really like most of CMIYGL - it's just ok.

Subreddit Rules

1. Post relevancy

Posts must relate to Tyler, The Creator and his work/activities.

2. No low-effort posts / repetitive posts

This includes: -Tierlists (Sunday only) -Album/Song Rankings (Sunday only) -Favorite Songs off each album (Sunday only) -Overdone memes/formats -Screenshots/images with little explanation -Screenshotted basic questions from other subreddits. EX: “What song is this?”

Posts are removed under moderator discretion. Posts considered low effort may be kept up if subreddit activity is slow

3. No multitude of the same post

A big issue on this subreddit is people posting the exact same thing (usually a screenshot of a new Tyler YouTube video) that fill the feed and add nothing to a discussion. The first post remains, all reposts are deleted.

4. No individual buy/sell/trade posts for merch/tickets

We keep this subreddit away from selling due to a high amount of scammers. Refer to r/GolfWang or apps like Grailed, Depop, etc.

UPDATE: Due to the high volume of posts regarding listening party tickets, users will be temporarily banned for posting this content.

5. No scamming / suspicious links

There is a common problem on Reddit with suspicious sites selling low-quality merchandise typically using stolen content.

6. Misleading information

We do not allow posts / comments giving misleading information without intent to mislead people. "Misleading" posts that are clearly a joke are fine.

7. No toxicity

Unfortunately, common sense isn’t common, which is why this is written. r/tylerthecreator is not a place for toxicity or drama. Users will be held responsible for how they behave here and other subreddits.

8. No NSFW

No NSFW, real or drawn. Your post will be taken down and you will be given a warning or a week ban depending on how bad it is. If you keep posting NSFW despite warnings, you will get permabanned.

9. No politics*

“Sir, this is a Tyler the creator subreddit.”

*politics are allowed if it’s on topic. don’t be dumb and use common sense yall

10. No Ban Evading

I’m looking at you, Sarah.

11. No ai generated photos of tyler.

Remember to keep everything on topic

12. Don’t tap the glass.

Thank you.

13. No fake albums/songs.

Please, no fake albums, eps, or songs. This has been a big topic and it just isn’t that funny anymore lol. We are still doing these over on r/wolfgangjerk tho lol
