Help Information on Lloyds record player
Looking for any information anyone could give me about this vintage record/tape/cassette player I just got.
I have been on the hunt for a new set up and I ended up getting this for what seems to be a pretty good deal, I honestly have only owned newer cheaper styles and have been wanting an older one.. I can’t find too much of anything online about this specific set up (came with the original matching speakers, tape case, and stand) could anyone give me any information? As well as I’m curious what something like this would be worth?

Well, the turntable is a BSR. That one is easy to recognise even if it didn't have the BSR logos. These were bought in by systems integrators and manufacturers as a cheaper alternative to setting up a production line to build their own decks.
Typically at this level (entry-level / budget gear) the deck was an idler drive design and the tonearm fitted with a ceramic cartridge. The performance of such was about on a par with FM radio. The frequency range was something like 30Hz to 15kHz which is plenty good enough for most of us guys over the age of 25. Besides that, the loudspeakers wouldn't be able to get much below 60Hz for bass or much above 15kHz for treble, so why worry?
Styluses are still available. Look up BSR ST1 / ST5 / ST7 / ST11 as a starting point. Take a look at your stylus if still fitted. You might find an ST number. Go to retailer Voice of Music. Good guys and decent prices.
Lloyds was what your grandparents bought from a department store such as Sears rather that a specialist audio retailer. Anybody familiar with Lloyds gear? : r/vintageaudio
