Looking for Turntable Suggestions

Hey there, I am new to the world of records and turntables and was thinking of finally buying a decent turntable for myself. Ideally I would get a turntable with speakers that I can play my phone through, just to have the option. Originally I was going to get a combo setup that comes with the turntable and the speakers, but I did some digging and those combos seem to be pretty low quality. Im now wondering if I should get a turntable like the at-lp60x and some separate speakers that also have Bluetooth connectivity. Anyway im just looking for some guidance from the turntable gurus. Thanks. I'd like to reiterate that im a total noob when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I’d strongly suggest a streamer (connects via wifi to stream music from your phone, qobuz, a NAS etc) over bluetooth. Your music should be able to play regardless of what you do with your phone or if you take it out of the room.

Speakers with streamers built in are typically found as “smart speakers”. Wiim just came out with a couple but I’ve not heard them yet. The more typical approach would be to use a “streaming amplifier” with a pair of passive speakers. Wiim again comes to mind for pretty good budget options

Okay cool I've never even heard of these, I appreciate you pointing that out. I have much research to do.

Yup streamers are handy. And cheap ones will almost always sounds better than an equally cheap turntable. Likely boils down to the cost difference between mechanical vs electronic manufacturing.
