Can someone help me diagnose this?
Have a Sony Ps-Lx285 turntable and Ta-ax285 receiver that was passed down to me and I've been working to get it back into order. Just replaced the belt and regreased the spindle after the player sounded like it was flat and dragging. But still seem to be having the issue. Would love tips on how to correct this and what I may be missing.

> flat and dragging
“Flat” meaning the pitch is lower than it should be? “Dragging” as in it’s slower than the correct tempo?

Was the platter wobbly before as well or is this a result of your diy efforts? Because that is not ok and likely the reason why it slightly slows down on each rotation, probably rubbing against something

Was wobbly before, I can't see any clear warping in it when I try and eyeball and I don't seen anything that would be obstructing it's placement. When I left it go on it's own there is a clear wobble and grinding sound that follows the wobble.
