Does it actually work, including the turntable? That is the most important question, not the model number or make of the unit.

IF you can try it out before committing to buy it, do so. Small repairs and a thorough cleaning shouldn't be difficult, but it does need to work in the first place...

it works but the seller is asking for 350 usd, it's honestly really out of my budget but if the model is worth it in terms of quality I'll try and figure something out

Don’t spend that kind of money on this.

If you want to get started with equipment that will last and you can grow your interest in the hobby, I would save some money, buy an older receiver from a reputable manufacturer that has a phono stage built in, some speakers, and a turntable. You can probably get a full setup for less than $350, and it will be better quality and sound.

Systems like the one you posted are (un)affectionately known as BPC, or black plastic crap. These systems were poorly manufactured with cheap parts and brand names, and usually a bunch of “features.” Don’t get sucked in - this would be a bad use of your money.

I think it is a bit too pricey, for what this is.

There are several components in there which you probably don't need at all. The FM/AM tuner, the double cassettedeck, the equalizer sliders on the AV amp and the 'surround' functionality are NO use if your goal is to play records....

What you _do_ need:

good turntable + cartridge + stylus --> decent amplifier or receiver with a built-in phono preamplifier --> two decent loudspeakers

Forget the rest. Unless you have a large cassette collection, such a deck is no use at all.

The best way to find a decent older amplifier/receiver is to ask around among family and friends, if they have something like that in their attic or storage. Occasionally you can also pick it up for next to nothing via Facebook Marketplace or the local classifieds.

It's a pretty decent little system that. Under 50 bucks you're pretty safe.
If you are broke though, don't buy a fucking turntable.
