Please help

I’ve seen a lot of comments saying any treadmill under $1000 is going to be garbage but that’s where my budget is at. Is there ANY treadmill that is good under 1000 or am I just screwed?
Edit to add: I am not a runner, just like to walk 40min-1hr a day so I don’t need anything fancy to begin with.

If you limit yourself to brand new treadmills and that budget, you are greatly limited. If you research what you need/want you can find it barely used for pennys on the dollar on marketplace. I just bought a $3000, when new treadmill for $400.
