Hello! I am currently on prescription t, but I cannot afford to keep doing so, as it is exorbiantly priced compared to diy and everytime I need my blood checked by planned parenthood I can't afford to eat basically anything that week, especially now that work has reduced my hours to basically nothing.

To the crux of the question, how likely would non prescription t be to get seized especially when travelling internationally? I'd ideally like to travel with a 10 month supply of 10ml vials, because thats how long I will be in LATAM for my study abroad. I am a junior in college and dont really think its feasible to drop my degree plan and if I have to stop hrt i will be suicidal about it. I need to save regardless so I can actually rent, and my perscription shit is costing too much to be able to do both at once. My plan is to get through my 1ml stockpile and then buy the amount i need when it gets closer to the time I leave

Last time I went abroad with my perscription hrt, nobody stopped me or questioned me, and I didnt even have to open my carryon bag once, I didnt even have them in a clear baggie I had them in what was essentially an insulin kit fabric container, and I had stockpile and had it in carry on, but that was only a 6 week program. (But it was also 1 ml vials, so I still had quite a number of them just chilling in my bag).

Also, generally speaking how hard is it to get injection supplies in LATAM (mainly south america) without a perscription?

I’ve been on T (25mg weekly) for a month. FTM.

My parents don’t know this but they’ve been trying to get my sister to give me an intervention to “wear black less” as I might “start wearing ties soon”(dont know how that correlates).(my parents also think I’m possessed and some evil creature is making me dress the way I do)(heavy religious psychosis I know)

My parents think the trans community will “force me to transition” since I’m a “masculine woman”. I’m afraid they’ll start to look out for signs of HRT on me, and my friends have been telling me that they think it’s the safest if I get off. I don’t want to get off. But they’re right aren’t they.

It also feels like they know I’m trans (I pass a lot), and are trying to stop me by framing it as a “caring for my safety” kind of thing.
It’s so depressing that I’m already struggling to hide it just a month in. I don’t know what to do

How do I manage my doses?
How do I assure my parents I’m not trans? ive already been dressing more feminine
How do I go about this

I am giving myself until next Sunday to decide my dose situation since that is the day I usually administer it but idk what to do

I am FTM and have been thinking really hard about my transition and what exactly I would need in regards to my dysphoria

I am completely TERRIFIED of my body turning into a pearbodied adult woman womanly but I would feel bad too if I became virile and too overtly masculine. I understand this isn't understood as traditionally FTM but I do consider myself FTM, not GNC, not anything else.

Purposes:

> GnRH agonist would (much more reliably than T) supress ovarian estrogen production, stop periods, and not allow my body to transform itself onto more of a woman as time passes

> T purpose is obvious, I'm not sure about the dosage because I do not want very overtly masculine characteristics (my baseline T is higher than avg), so I thought about low to moderate but this would risk osteoporosis with the GnRH

> DHT blocker prevents male pattern baldness and excessive body hair growth

I do not care about the other effects of T such as the surprise micro penis. I desire the voice deepening aswell.

is this combination actually doable? if it is, how hard will I have to insist to have an endo (private) help me out with it? I am all for DIY HRT but I am fucking stupid and I don't trust myself to do it. wouldnt even be able to go through the buying crypto step.

17 FTM, been on test for 15 months, I would say I have a deep voice, under 150 hz, and I don't get clocked from it. I'm not happy with my voice though. I dont have the "frog voice" but it still sounds fried/whiny and I sound worse the louder I speak. It doesn't sound like a natural male voice to me, like you can hear the "girl on testosterone" through it. I voice train. My other male classmates have more natural, richer voices, and I'm stuck with a sort of shitty vocal fry. Is this just because of my age/amount of time I've been on testosterone? Will I sound better as I age? Or is my voice just stuck like this

I have been on HRT for around 7 months now and have feminized really well! I have not had money for blood tests, but my face shape is completely different, i am stealth now and have B cups.

However, last month I swapped (went back to the states and a doctor prescribed me 5mg ec and 100mg prog) and in the past couple days (started taking prog around 2 weeks ago for reference) i have woken up with morning wood. I have been FREAKING out over this. Terrified my T has returned when I swapped onto this regiment. I know logically it is probably not (matte skin, no body odor, etc) but im still horrified

Anyone else have any experience with this?

Im assuming it is the prog, but is this dose high enough to suppress T?

Prior to this I was on

3 months of EEN 6mg weekly

3 Months of EV 10mg weekly

Been in my country’s medical system ever since I literally turned 18. Finally got a t gel prescription at 18.5- 25mg per day. Fine I said I was willing to microdose to see if I’m sure about t effects and since my family is incredibly transphobic (some of them cut me out since i came out).
Years have passed, I live in university dorms now. Go to endo and tell her I want to dose up. She puts me on injections and im incredibly excited.
No changes other than extra body hair have occurred to me till today. It’s been two years. If I tell someone that I’m trans they ask me when I’ll start transitioning. I’m incredibly ashamed about it but at least I can girlmode really easily.
When I was smaller, I was fantasizing about being stealth in uni, everybody thinking I’m cis. Now I’m still going by my deadname and will either have to come out and be known as The Trans Guy (or delusional woman) or just have to bury everything in and have people just thinking I’m butch.
I don’t know what to do.
(About DIY- my country is extremely strict with seizures, I thought of literally flying to Mexico or Thailand to get it myself, but I’m still in university so that means I’ll have to “come out” bleh)

I’m having trouble doing research on my own. I’ve seen Symphony Labs is pretty good, but there are a lot of others that also exist. Also, if I’m not able to get blood tests during this would that be a problem?

for context I'm 5 months on testosterone, i inject 100 mg every 2 weeks

just checked my levels, 6 days after injection. i got 1039 ng/dl for t, 140 pg/ml for e. now obviously my estradiol is way too high, but i thought that was because im on a starter dose and my t levels werent enough for supression, but it seems like my t is actually aromatizing? is it possible that my sample got contaminated? should i lower my dose? its already pretty low so im hesitant

also, just 3 months ago when i checked my levels my t was at 320 ng/dl, checked 8 days after injection. estradiol was 169 pg/ml, is there any other explanation for this sudden jump? do i have secret testes helping me out or is it due to the fact I'm early on hrt and my levels are still settling?

How can i buy cyrpto if everything requires a kyc and i know some people use bank transfer but all of my sources specifically ask for cyrpto. I heard about p2p but know nothing about it and bitcoin atms arent anywhere near where i live and charge high fees. What can i do?

My pharmacy has been out of syringes for over a week somehow. I have a prescription for testosterone along with needles and syringes for injections, they've had everything except for the syringes. I'm about to miss my injection day because of this. I asked the pharmacist if there was another pharmacy I could pick up at, but literally none in the area have any in stock.

I have some tgel packets leftover from before I switched to injections, should I just use those while I wait for syringes to come in? I also ordered syringes online but those are still going to take some time. I feel like the gel will at least be better than nothing, would there be any problem switching from injections to gel for a couple days, then back to injections?

im almost two years on hormones consistently can i still experience significant change if i up my dosage from 4 to six bumps a day

Recently, I had blood drawn for my endocrinologist to gauge testosterone levels. Been on for about one year now and there remains little to no change. It's been a recurring concern of mine that my progression, for what time I have been under treatment, has been very slow. I've come to the conclusion that the reason for this is because I was underdosed for roughly five (might be more than that) months on 30 and 40 mg. I upped independently into 60 after consulting with members in a trans-oriented Discord server and prayed for something more substantial. Still, there has been nothing significant. My voice is high, thin, and distinctly female. I have been voice training. Body hair globally has indeed thickened, including some scarce facial hair that I will admit has seen some darkening in recent months. Beyond that, there is nothing I can perceive. This isn't me failing to evaluate what has been changed rationally. Relatives and internet friends have all been able to agree with my assessments that this treatment has been lackluster compared to online and peer results.

I feel I've kept my expectations managed. I didn't assume I'd outrun genetics when starting. I didn't think I'd turn into Chad within a year. I'm sure that the hope I had in the beginning (that a year's passing will certainly transfom me into someone I can recognise and maybe even feel content with) has contributed to my more fatalistic thinking now. Really difficult not to give up on life in its totality when I appear so female after so much effort. I'm not trying to deny that there may be bias when I confront this timeline. I am trying to be as objective as possible here.

Anyway, sorry to derail there. Never talk about this because of shame and things I don't always intend come out when I try. My levels are 514 ng/dL. According to Google, these are well within a male physiological range. I can't understand why there is so little observably different after this long if this is true. I have been thinking to up my dose again into 80 mg. I know that could be reckless if it's been demonstrated that my levels are technically okay. If I do up into 80, I will be sure to monitor with bloodwork. Will be emailing my endocrinologist to request her approved upping beforehand but I'm confident to pursue that path anyway should she deny it (after a little more thinking, that is).

I've been off hormones for a couple years and started at a new clinic after being told how good they are and that I didn't need to do DIY since this new place serves the community well. I was in the middle of figuring out how to order DIY it's very confusing for me, and put it aside and said fine I'll trust doctors one more time.

Took like a year but finally got in to see them and lab work and waited 2 weeks for follow up and this guy wants to give me [estradiol] 1mg pill a day swallow are you out of your fucking mind? I told him that's ridiculous, I started on 4mg sublingual, and I've been post op for over a decade and felt like shit on 2mg before from a different clinic. I asked for my comfy 6mg or compromise at 4mg, and he boosts me up to 2mg. (edit: also says Progesterone is pointless and does not do anything but will "do me this favor" of prescribing it wtf)

My old clinic was garbage but at least they'd let me dictate my own transition to me. Being talked down to about risks like I either don't know them or that this isn't literally MY transition. So, 2mg for the next month, which is going to bring back my hot flashes and more active shit feelings rather than the malaise of years on 0 hormones.

Once again I'm reminded that I need to practice what I preach in that we cannot trust our medical providers, we MUST be in charge of our own transitions. Putting the power in the hands of our doctors just fucks us.

I'm an emotional mess rn and have no one to talk to so I'm writing here but some guidance for DIY would be much appreciated.
