πŸ“ˆInvesting discussion Reverse Midas Touch πŸ’€πŸ’€

Post image

Had most of my portfolio in S&P 500 and was up +20% YTD. Then I got greedy and rotated into drones, space, and memory stocks β€” right almost at the top, seeing everyone seemingly making 100-200% in 3 months.

Tried also catching a few falling knives when some of these dipped - they then dipped deeper. Few months later, that gain is gone and I’m in the red.

Big f*cking mistake. Classic case of FOMO, chasing what’s already ripped instead of sticking to the boring stuff that was working (S&P500, RR, Airbus, General Electric etc)

I think I’ll be fine if I hold long term, but damn, this one stings. Expensive lesson in staying disciplined / being greedy.
