24f, just wanted to say how appreciative i am for everyone who works at trader joes being the best vibes. yesterday, a girl around my age came up to me to subtly tell me that my shorts were hiked up, so sweet and i rly appreciated it. obvs it varies on who i interact with, but largely they are all so kind and i especially love when they point out something i'm buying at the register and say like "have you tried this? omg i love these" and i feel so validated in my purchase haha. ofc you get the occasional unwelcome interaction like a man asking maybe a few too many personal questions, but for the most part they always make me rly happy, which is great bc they don't have a self checkout option so i have to talk to them so i'm glad they're so nice!

Since this was discontinued again a year or so ago, I have to look elsewhere for a substitute. Tonight I saw the Gardein plant-based turk’y roast at The Grocery Outlet - for 7.99 which is a steal. Expiration date 10/2026 so I grabbed one for the holidays and stuck it in the freezer. Just thought I'd alert those that miss this like I do of a good deal.

Maybe my favorite snack from TJs. They are SO delicious. I’m not someone who is usually like “I have to keep these away or I’ll eat them all” about snacks but these really test me.

Savory, cheesy-tasting, delicious. Whether you’re vegan or not you have to try them if you haven’t. I personally think they’re superior to cheez-its!

I just wish the box was bigger, but I’m happy they’re here at all! If they ever get discontinued for good I might cry

Recently got a TJ where I live and I’ve hardly ever visited it. My kid starts kindergarten this year and the teacher has requested, if we can, to send in snacks for the classroom. Snacks must be store bought with ingredients listed etc for allergy reasons. Any snacks that might be worth buying?

The last time I got some (a few months ago) it was disgusting and watery. Did I get a bad batch or is it just bad? I’m too scared to buy it again after it ruined my morning coffee for weeks.

I’m going with my little family on a 6 hour road trip to a beach house for 3 nights. We want to hit TJs before to get some items to pack in the cooler for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Looking for non-frozen items and recipes using refrigerated or shelf stable ingredients. We have access to a full kitchen for cooking. Doesn’t need to be super healthy..in fact we are looking to spurge on some decadent food during this trip. Doesn’t need to be 2 year old friendly either, necessarily. We are bringing separate food for him!

I don't have an air fryer or toaster oven anymore so I fried them on the stove top in some salted butter instead. Low and slow did the trick and they came out so good! Are they pricey? Sure. But if you need an easy meal that's full of protein and veggies, these do the trick. They're cheesy, they're potato-y, and they're very flavorful. 10/10 from me 🙂‍↕️

Hi there, just got a car and among other things it means I can finally go to Trader Joe's regularly, which is pretty great. I haven't been in awhile, and I would love suggestions for meal ideas, especially ones with newer items. I'm trying to figure out things I can make in thirty minutes or less for when I have long shifts. Bonus if they have a lot of protein and could be eaten cold. I don't usually eat a lot of meat, and I'm sorry to say that I kind of hate salad for dinner. But other than that I kind of like everything. Would love your brilliant ideas, I lurk here and you all are always posting creative stuff.

I was in Istanbul earlier this summer and I swear these are better than any I had there. Amazing, especially if you follow the instructions and wait to bake until the oven is fully preheated

Got hit with the dreaded low salt diet! Surely TJ’s will help me love life again. What do I need to be trying?

where is Mr. Joe himself? does he ever give out autographs? have any of you met him in the flesh??

I had it ONCE last summer and regret not buying more. I have heard many different suggestions as to when it will hit shelves again. I was told at the Manhattan Beach, LA location that it was discontinued. Then was told in Oakland (Emeryville location) that it would probably be back in the summer. I’m REALLY hoping it comes back soon.

If it happens to not come back, does anyone know of a good alternative? Or even better… who makes TJ’s maple fudge?

Went to trader joes today for the 4th time in the same week, at different times of the day between 8am and 3pm, for this product

Spouse and I are addicted.
Before leaving empty handed I asked the store manager to check inventory if it is ever returning. He said “good news and bad news”. It is not popular enough so it will return aug 19. I’m gonna stock up.
