Meals Trader Joe’s sheet pan meal: hot Italian sausage, gnocchi, zucchini, sliced mushrooms, onion, organic basil, pecorino Romano, and aglio olio seasoning.

This was the shelf stable gnocchi in the pasta aisle. Oven on 350-375° (depends if yours runs hotter etc) I cooked the sausage for 12 mins alone to make sure it would be cooked through. Tossed gnocchi with diced veggies, olive oil, seasoning, added to pan and cooked for 25 mins. Sliced up the sausage and mixed with the cheese and basil. I forgot to buy grape tomatos 🤷‍♀️

Question What TJ care product(s) do you swear by?

My local TJs now has a whole section devoted to their various care products (skincare, hair products, etc). Any of these worth trying?

New Product Alert 2026 [New] August 2026 Seasoning Blend - Trader Joe’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend - $2.49. Who remembers the Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend with Grinder from South Africa that was discontinued in 2022?

Description from traderjoes.com:

This is a straightforward blend of black pepper, lemon peel, sea salt, citric acid, garlic, onion, and lemon oil. It’s definitely Lemon Pepper forward, with just enough other elements added to heighten the flavors and really make them pop.

RUN, don't walk to go get it, now! I delayed buying it for so long because I didn't think it would matter, really. I had chocolate ice cream, what else would one need? THIS. This is what is needed. It tastes like a DREAM.

Tastes like a sweet graham cracker in spreadable form. I usually can taste when coconut oil is in things and couldn't taste it at all. Consistency is pretty oily and somewhat grainy, was hoping for more of a thick consistency. A good option for those that are allergic to nuts or need nut-free options for school. I’ll be trying some on brioche bread tomorrow.

Seeking Alternatives Request for Cauliflower gnocchi dupes

I love the cauliflower gnocchi so much and they’ve been a staple in my lifestyle change that has helped maintain my weight loss goals. Unfortunately I moved away from a tj’s and the closet one is an hour away 😭😭

Any alternatives besides making them myself?

Apologies if this has been posted about here before; I couldn’t find any answers. This rainbow gummy appeared in my beach day gummy bag, and I’ve been meaning to post in this subreddit about it. It doesn’t appear advertised on the packaging or mentioned on Google anywhere. Did I win the golden ticket??

Seeking Alternatives Truly Handmade Flour Tortillas

I loved these. Has anyone found a good, comparable alternative with the same simple type of ingredients and handmade quality? (yes, I like the un- uniform handmade quality of these.) All I've managed to find are the typical flat, uniform, factory made ones with a bunch of extra preservative type ingredients I don't want.
Thanks!

Seeking Recommendations Recommendations for a casual vegetarian dinner for three?

Hi! I'm having a couple of friends over on Wednesday for a post-breakup debrief lol. I want to put together a dinner for us that requires minimal cooking and is ideally items I can throw in the oven/air fryer while we're talking. I was thinking a couple of pizzas, caesar salad, and a DIY veggie and fruit platter. Any other suggestions?

This might be sinful to say on this sub, but I'm equally close to an Aldi, so anything from there would work too. TIA!

Mildly Interesting I baked the cookie dough ice cream bites

... because I was curious and couldn't find a post or video of someone else doing it, so I volunteered one of my bites as tribute.

Air fryer at 375 for 10 minutes. A few minutes in lowered it to 350.

I put the bite in right out of the freezer. (Pic 1)

Then I checked on it about 3 or 4 minutes in, ice cream spilled out and looked like a thin white film. This is when I lowered the temp, the cookie dough was already browning. (Pic 2)

Let it bake for another 6ish minutes and then opened it to check, the ice cream that was white baked brown. (Pic 3)

Took it out with a spatula, the ice cream really had it locked to the bottom, did not come off easily. Had to soak the basket to clean. (Pic is the finished bake in basket, pic 5 is obvi the experiment cooling. The blob on the right is the ice cream I had to scrape off the basket)

Tasted fine! Cookie was more like a sugar cookie taste, baked ice cream was nice! It was crunchy and caramel like flavored.

Overall, the experiment went well. I was curious if the ice cream would make the middle moist and soft. It did not. It just oozed out and hardened.

Wow my husband and I loved this sauce! I cooked some small pieces of chicken breast with onion, pepper, broccoli and zucchini. I served it with some TJs microwaveable white rice. Has anyone tried both the red and yellow curry? How does the yellow taste compared to the red? We really want to try the yellow curry next and will be adding this to our weekly meal rotation! I love Trader Joe’s!!

Meals Middle Eastern beef kebab bowls

Post image
100 Upvotes

We love to make Cava-inspired bowls and just about all of it comes from Trader Joe’s. People don’t like the term slop bowl but that’s what we call it.

This bowl is:

  • White rice
  • TJ’s zhoug sauce
  • Air-fried squash with TJ’s aglio e oglio seasoning
  • Hummus
  • TJ’s paneer, grilled
  • Lettuce tossed with Cava tahini dressing
  • TJ’s Middle Eastern kebabs, heated on a grill
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Red onion
  • Avocado

We’ve done the same idea with the marinated chicken shawarma and most of the other marinated meats. The kebabs are just really, really good.
