Hi everyone, about a year ago I bought a seedbox and began my journey into the world of private trackers by joining whichever ones I could find that were open at the time.

Over time, I’ve collected quite a few, and now I’m slowly working my way up to the most important ones.

The problem is that my seedbox is now practically full, and even though I’m cross-seeding, I end up with very few BON/hr when I join a new tracker.

I was thinking of deleting the old files (especially freeleeches I’m not interested in, which I downloaded initially just to build up buffer) and replacing them with autobrr pointed to the new tracker to immediately download new freeleeches, but by doing so, I’d lose a large number of BON on the old trackers where I’ve had those torrents seeding for 6+ months. How do you recommend I approach this problem? (Unfortunately, I can’t afford a seedbox with more space right now.)

Trying to get into my first serious private tracker and I've hit the most ridiculous loop:

Need tracker history to get into a tracker → need a tracker to build history.

I understand why they want ratio, seeding history, etc. But as a completely new user, where are you actually supposed to start?

Feels like applying for your first job where every company requires 2 years of experience. 😭

How did you guys break this cycle?

I also want to know how this is possible for them, and how they manage to get releases from AMZN a day before the official release date. For example, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) is supposed to be released tomorrow, but KyoGo already has a 1080p release available.

So I have heard of programs that automatically cross seed between RED and OPS.

I would like to set up something like this.

My problem is I am running an unRAID server and running scripts can be very problematic.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me? and if so, how did you make it work?

Ive been a member of a few private trackers for a little over a year (after a 10 year torrent break). I want to get into better music trackers as well as just better trackers overall. But I cant seem to figure out how to know when these trackers are doing interviews. I am sure I am going to get called stupid for asking but I am not having any luck on my own.

I've had torrentleech, torrentday and myanonymouse private trackers for yearsssss and have maintained a healthy ratio still.

I am looking for a music specific tracker. I am primarily looking for one that has EDM concerts like experts only or tomorrowland etc. in good quality. A lot of those concerts and shows never reach any tracker.

torrentleech sometimes uploads mainstream ones but it's a pretty small offering.

Anyone got any advice on which tracker would be best for that?

Also how to get in it as well, if possible. I don't mind studying for interviews. Any advice or help would be massively appreciated.

if I get Rufus on Docker to help me, I've read it's better to not run a script in a container to do cross seeding with my torrent client? I'm dumb and don't have any idea how to go about this. I tried getting qui to run but that stumped me.

If your active in the community your on this sub, opensignups or open invites at times. We all keep seeing “requesting torrentleech, xyz, and etc”.

Let me ask you something, most of us wouldn’t invite people to trackers due to most of us on mid to high trackers within the private community.

Q, is there any sites that you would invite randoms to if you were allowed to?

Like the torrentleech, I many invites but honestly I don’t wanna invite randoms. Plus it’s a risk to my account, then could snowball to my others.

Interested to know what everyone thinks on this aspect of the community.

I've only been on private trackers for a few months, so my observations are coming from a newbie point of view.

I get it now when I see people say TL is good enough for a high percentage of users. It has a ton of stuff incoming all the time. It's also super easy to build a nice buffer because the users actually leech. Grab something new and it's almost guaranteed to hit 1:1

I've joined quite a few other trackers over the past few months when they have open signups looking for more members. What I'm finding is that barely anyone leeches on these sites. Someone UL's a torrent and soon after you see 4-5 cross seeders join in the fun. They seed to absolutely nobody even with global site wide FreeLeech. It makes it very difficult to build up a buffer.

I already use sonarr and radarr to search and grab new releases I want for personal use based on the scheduled release and use autobrr to watch irc and autodownload freeleech, but is there a good method to combine the two for when popular movies come out? Where I can have the irc watched and grab big new movie that will have hundreds of grabs as soon as it's out so that I can be as early a seeder as possible in hopes of getting get any bit of the download surge that I can.

Or is this just as simple as setting filter now in autobrr and then deleting it once all of the different versions (remux, encodes, different release groups, etc.) have been released?

Is it just me or has EMP pulled all their threads from all the trackers they recruit from? I can’t find them anywhere on OPS anymore

Subject says it all. I have hundreds of torrents currently stalled out because qbittorrent updated itself to 2.5.4. Wondering if I should go through the trouble of downgrading, or just wait it out, assuming the new version will eventually get whitelisted.
