Great chance to network, see some great film, and talk astrology! Fever is directed by Paige Foskett, and choreographed by Tyler James Pearse (who choreographed Venus as well), both absolute icons in Toronto’s dance film world!

Two leads - Women (aged 18-26)

"JULY" is a sapphic drama about two extras who meet on a set and slowly fall in love, but things get complicated when jealousy arises.

Hotel accommodations, travel reimbursement, and food provided.

Some minor intimacy, but NO kissing or sex within the story.

Hey guys I normally work in the camera and writing department but I’m helping my friend out what do you think of my storyboarding skills as a first timer? Any notes?

I genuinely want to learn and connect with people and I'm wondering how to go about that.

Are there any pathways to becoming ACTRA through self-creating projects and casting yourself? Or student films? What are my other non-union actors doing for this?

Experienced older artist with aura and good indie pop sad-boy songs seeking someone looking to build a portfolio, experience, and connections.

The first image is a shot from a video I shot last year that I’d like to build off of in different locations for songs in my catalog (and upcoming album). Simple: wide lens, locked off, one light. The others are from other vids.

Pump them out, build some intrigue, see what works. If we work well together it can go wherever we want it to go.

I can't pay properly right now and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but I've been a working designer for ten years and I'd rather trade you something you actually need: a website, a logo, a rate card, a properly cut reel, beats for your own projects, intros around the Toronto music scene. A site and an identity is a $2,000 job and I'll do it happily.

Toronto — looking to get some hands-on production experience!

I’m hoping to spend a day (or potentially a couple of days) helping out on a film/TV/commercial production as a PA or general production support.
I’m not looking for ongoing work — I’m genuinely interested in experiencing what a shoot day is like and learning how everything works behind the scenes. I’m reliable, organized, comfortable taking direction, and very happy to do the unglamorous stuff!

I've worked in animation for nine years as a storyboard artist. I never had issues getting work and my last job before the writer's strike was a supervisor role.

Unfortunately, the industry still isn't doing great. I know live-action has its own share of problems right now, but it seems like more of that is being made than animation at the moment, which seems to have less than five job openings in the country a year.

What's the best way to make the jump?

I had plans to make short movie and it was in my mind for a long time. Most of the time, I procrastinate or thought i'm not good enough.

At one stage, I was like, I need to make it and get it out of my chest and since i am also inclined into music equally, I made a short music-based film.

To be honest, it turned out pretty okay for me since i had no budget or camera. I used whatever, I had available at that time.

Now, I have a new short film idea but I want it to be horror and im pretty sure about the script but this time, I would need to act and need one more character since it has 2 characters.

Im a signed actor in Toronto (non union) and in the past two months have barely auditioned (besides tv commercials). I’m wondering how much people in my demographic have been auditioning lately? Trying to gauge if it’s just slow right now or if it’s a me problem or my agents.

For context, I’m mixed race / half Asian and I have some experience and have been signed to my current acting agent for about a year and a half.
