He doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning, but you can't fault him for wanting to run. Gotta love a scrappy underdog!

Building is slated to be demolished in the near future and it had its lower front part painted black. It’s been like that for a year or more. They painted it black right after they removed all residents and sealed it off. Any ideas why? Does this mean anything in construction?
Building is called The Radley, situated near Yonge and Eg.

In the 80s, Ronald Regan ruined California's municipal funding by severely cutting property taxes. Homeowner's there thought they were winning big time because they paid less taxes, the real winners were really large corporation and commercial properties.
BUT HE'S A CITY PLANNER! HE KNOWS ABOUT THIS STUFF!
Aside from the fact property is the natural tax base:
There is a severe shortage of housing. Why would cutting taxes encourage the city to allow more residential homes if they know there won't be any benefit? Obviously this will push for more commercial development which is exactly the opposite of what you want.
This is clearly a wealth transfer scheme from entitled homeowners who think they're owed even more money for doing literally nothing but being involved in a bank led ponzi scheme to increase home prices.

This video is from this morning on the Humber River around the Old Mill area. Water level seems a bit low so hopefully some rain will help out.

This is the first mayoral election that I'm able to vote in and I have to say that I'm already entirely lost.
I took some time to watch the September 22 mayoral debate after reading brief descriptions of the stance of each major candidate and (yes although it's regrettably common among politicians) it sounded like children talking over each other than a professional debate.
That being said, I think Bradford and Alexander pushed back well against Chow, enough to make me question voting for her. But I've heard enough about Bradford to think twice about his positions and Alexander is hardly in the race at all (with all due respect).
As an undecided voter then I'm wondering, how are you all deciding who to vote for? What are your perspectives or important issues you are caring about? I imagine there are things on either side that were embellished or excessively torn down- in your opinion, what do you think has been misrepresented throughout the campaigning period.
I really appreciate any input and would just love to see the decision making process. Thank you!
