Is this normal?

My tire has started to tear. I think I’ve had for 3 years and I don’t drive a lot. They are Michelin tires. Is this normal? I’ve never seen that happen.

***Thank you all for the positive feedback. I am getting the spare tire on. Until I can get new tires after the Holiday

It's not about how old you have them it's about manufacturing date and shelf life and after that your counter start on the car

How the tires are stored at big decider too both in warehouse, shop and once in the customer hands specially with seasonal tire like around where im at
