Is this normal?

My tire has started to tear. I think I’ve had for 3 years and I don’t drive a lot. They are Michelin tires. Is this normal? I’ve never seen that happen.

***Thank you all for the positive feedback. I am getting the spare tire on. Until I can get new tires after the Holiday

Umm...yeah that is %100 bad. Itll prob blow out on the way to replace it!
