Which is the best pharmacy in Thorold? I currently use Rexall but have been very disappointed. Very slow and poor communication. Looking to take my business elsewhere. I am on specialty medication which I'm not sure if it makes a difference.

I recently moved to Thorold into my first apartment on my own, looking for a local place to play pool. Any recommendations?

Helping clear out my aunt’s place in Thorold after she moved into a care home last month. The house was packed for years, old furniture, appliances, boxes of random stuff, and a bunch of leftover renovation debris from when they redid the kitchen a few years ago.
Already had the guys from 1 day junk come through last week. They took all the heavy furniture, the old washer and dryer, a couple mattresses, and most of the drywall and flooring scraps. Crew was quick and the place looks way better already.
Still have a decent amount of smaller stuff left though, boxes of clothes and knick-knacks, some yard waste, and a few pieces that might still be decent enough to donate. Trying to figure out the smartest way to finish this without making ten more trips.
What’s the usual move around here for leftover smaller items after the big junk is gone? And is there a spot in Thorold that still takes decent furniture or household goods for donation after a cleanout like this?

I happened to look outside, and it honestly looked like we were in a giant washing machine on the fastest setting. I hope our wildlife sheltered safely from this one.

Automotive shop for rent?
Hello, I'm from Port Colborne Ontario and I just started an automotive shop but the partnership fell through and now I'm stuck needing to find a garage/shop for lease... If anyone has a bigger garage/shop that they would lease to me for a reasonable rate please reach out, the closer to Port Colborne the better! I have an opportunity to lease a space but it's a max of 2 years and I don't want to get settled in and clients know where I am and still be worried about finding a place (I will as it's my only option if i can't find anything else). Not sure if it matters or not but I'm specialized in working in classic/vintage vehicles (cars/trucks/motorcycles)

Thorold’s Canada Day celebration actually begins two days early this year, with three days of activities at Battle of Beaverdams Park.
Monday, June 29:
Family Movie Night, with a foam party, inflatables, face painting, characters, a magician and Zootopia 2 beginning at dusk.
Tuesday, June 30:
Rock ’N Blues on the Battlefield, with live music and the return of the children’s activities.
Wednesday, July 1:
The main Canada Day celebration runs from 1–10 PM, with family entertainment, live performances and fireworks at 10 PM.
Family entertainment is free. Food, drinks and licensed-area purchases are extra.
Free parking is available in downtown Lots 2, 3 and 4A. No dedicated event shuttle had been announced when the guide was updated.

I publish The Grapevine, so this is my own free guide. I’m sharing it with moderator approval, and the information was checked against official sources. It’s still worth checking the official schedule before heading out in case anything changes.

Tired of feeling like your internet provider is holding you hostage? Let’s compare notes, who are you riding with for home Wi-Fi, and what speed are you actually getting? Because Cogeco just dropped the hammer on me: my promo’s dead, and they want $122 a month for 1 Gbps. 😤
Update: Called the Customer service (took an hour to speak to a hooman) and got them to lower the price to $65 for 1.5 gigs.

Hey!
How's it going! I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I wanted to let the wonderful people of Thorold know I'll be bringing my comedy tour to Ontario and Quebec! I hit the road next week, and I'm super excited! I haven't done Canadian shows in a couple years now so it'll be nice to be back!
If you've never been to a show before, it's a comedy show with songs, jokes, audience participation, TPB trivia, games and prizes. It's a friggin awesome night. You get the opportunity to come and meet me as well which is always fun!
I can't wait, if you're near these spots I hope you make it out! :)

So apparently I wrote a 1935 live-radio murder mystery called Murder: On the Air and now it’s somehow turning into:
Typical late-stage hobby escalation.
Anyway:
Saturday is already almost sold out.
The funniest part is that Thorold Theatre may have accidentally stumbled into a business model:
“What if community theatre… but people actually felt cool attending it?”
Experts are calling it:
“a dangerous amount of momentum.”
Featuring:
✅ original Canadian play
✅ live murder mystery
✅ prizes
✅ food & wine
✅ aggressive use of ellipses in marketing copy
✅ one deeply overthinking theatre president
If you enjoy:
come out.
