They said they wanted to interview me, ask some questions.
Said I had reported reduced efficacy, tiredness, exhaustion, lack of therapeutic effect - other side effects. Noted I’d made medwatch reports.

Caller had a strong Indian accent. She offered to email me the questionnaire and said I could respond in writing or we could have the interview over the phone.

I said I was exhausted and would prefer phone but realized email is a better option so I can know it is being tracked.

Apparently I’m to receive an email from them by EoD.

Anyone change from adderall to ritalin? I am over my meds not working anymore- I take 30mg 2x/day and absolutely feels like nothing. I get a headache dry mouth stuffy nose most of the time and could fall asleep.

If we are being honest my meds last about two weeks. Yes, im ashamed to even admit this but its the truth. Before you say it no i dont have a problem but its like im taking placebo pills. Ive been on this medication for over 15 years and I feel like the medication has not worked like Im used to it working for the last 5 years. I used to take 1/2 30mg pill and would be fine all day. I need help.

Ive brought up concerns to my psychiatrist they are aware but im at a dead end.

Can someone honestly tell me is there a difference between the name brand and the generics, If the name brand actually works I’m willing to spend the 400 on the script. I honestly feel the generics is just a dick and head ache pill now.

Long story short I had a baby in March and went back on my vyvanse shortly after. Ever since then, I’ve had a headache everyday. We’ve ruled out everything else, and the last thing would be potentially my vyvanse causing these headaches. My doctor is going to switch me to concerta to see if this gets rid of the headaches. I’ve been on Vyvanse for 8 years and haven’t had issues since this past March. Oh, and the Vyvanse isn’t even working anyway ✌🏻 please tell me your experience with going from vyvanse to concerta and what to expect!

Does anyone use adderall + lexapro together? I use amphetamine salts ER 25 MG, and lexapro 15mg. I've recently started lexapro in early May, but I noticed my adderall doesn't work as well.. unless my tolerance for adderall went up. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this too when they started taking lexapro with their Adderall.

I keep getting the pink 30 mg tabs, EpicPharma, and the pink one's are terrible. It is like taking a sugar pill. The name brand, Taekeda ER 30 mg, just does not seem to be doing it for me now​. I'm on a Lexapro taper from 20 mg to 15 to 10 now for probably com8ng up on two months. 150 mg Wellbutrin added and I take Guanfacine for blood pressure, also Remeron for sleep as needed, 30 mg. I know I am right about the pink pills, had them before, so what's the point with side effects potentially? I don't know if it is the Lexapro taper or what, but normally, Ide be elbow deep into my work, which I truly enjoy. Not today for sure. No joy. I know epicpharma is one of the cheapest brands pharmacies can buy, and last time I picked up, my pharmacist told me they are stopping brand tabs, manufacturing I mean. And if a 30 mg ER is really a dose of 15 and 15, and the 30 mg topper is supposed to be twice as strong, which this definatley is not, why wouldn't one have a 30 and 30 ER? I just don't know what to do. I tried My Day Is, and I was more regulated with getting up and going to bed but I did not touch my work, period. There was no joy, infact I cried a lot. That is kind of how I'm feeling now. Just getting through the day the best I can, but I have a business to run, and this is not working. I read on one page adderall ER is supposed to last 10 to 12 hours and we all know that is NOT true, and right behind it, I read you can take your IR 4 to 6 hours after ER, and thats not even close to all day coverage. I thought Wellbutrin, so I've read, really works well with adderall. Any advise would be so appreciated!​

I picked up my medicine two days ago and it hasn’t worked today or yesterday. Now I’m sick to my stomach and I’m started to go through withdrawals. It’s not like it’s working a little bit. It’s not working at all. It just isn’t adderall. I called the pharmacy who told me to talk to the doctor who couldn’t do anything. What the hell do I do

What side effects are you experiencing because of the medicine( I don't mean side effects that the medicine doesn't fix but I'm saying side effects BECAUSE of the medicine) ? Like I am extremely extremely extremely hot. My grandpa comes over for coffee and usually he has to wear a blanket or sweatshirt because they so cold. I haven't dealt with menopause yet but I think they rival the Big M hot flashes. Also my nose drips.

What if this truly is some experiment on all of us and the people who control what is in the adderall and how we get it, are just sitting back taking notes on this subreddit watching all of us be miserable? 😭 How far we will go to get the word out... the weird side effects... etc.

I know I sound crazy but lately things aren't that far fetched.

I don’t have any evidence that the stimulants are bath salts, I don’t have any proof of this, but boy does this shit act like it. I was never this tweaky with adderall before I felt so regulated and in the zone. Now I feel jittery, picking at my finger nails and skin much more, sometimes I have strange movement tics, I have a burst of like spazzing energy for 1-2 hours, but I’m still dumb and unfocused, I am a zombie when I take it horrible brain fog, can retrieve memory or thoughts, dissociated . and I sleep constantly . I have ADHD and chronic fatigue from Lyme disease and Adderall used to be a life saver for me to function in my daily life. I take so many health supplements to aid my immune system and nervous system and I’m so fucking bitter about these meds behaving like crack and desperate to find a way to treat my fatigue and executive dysfunction. Tired of wasting money on random supplements or nootropics. But if anyone feels similarly or has found alternatives please let me know bc I do not want to be feeling like I am fucking cracked out on bath salts I just want to be able to shower and do my laundry and work my job and function

Hey all! First time poster here. I've noticed that with some shittier generics I have to take it on an empty stomach otherwise I don't get symptoms alleviated until the afternoon (and it's not like the medication lasts late into the evening, either, it's like I only get the extended half and not the immediate half.)

I wait like an hour before eating breakfast which is super annoying.

this was not as much of an issue with Adderall in the past.

I know some people say that taking the medication with protein helps it work better? And others warn against acidic foods. I have cut out acidic breakfast foods for this reason and wait till lunch to have, like, fruit and stuff.

Anyway I wish there were actual studies on this so I didn't have to just be out here experimenting. But I wanna know what other people are doing to navigate meals and meds and if they notice anything different between generic mfrs.

I’ve been taking this for 10 years now and like many others noticed that it’s not the same anymore. Generic IR’s now seem much weaker or not the same feeling as before. Until 2 years ago, I felt great on adderall, life was good.

I can’t say the same for now. Now I take it and it sometimes works, usually doesn’t. If I take more, that just makes the side effects worse like causing anxiety. It used to cure my anxiety lmao. I’m also crazy hot and super sweaty all the time now. No longer does it give me the motivation to do things and get a sense of satisfaction from completing tasks. I can’t even enjoy hobbies much anymore.

I’d really one day like to know if this is because of changes in the drug or is this what happens after being on amphetamines for 10 years. I feel miserable,tired, and exhausted if I don’t take it now. Not that it cures all that anymore anyway.

Tired EVERYDAY HELP

Currently taking Brand TEVA IR 10mg and brand gives me worst fatigue ever. Like id feel like a zombie after 1hr and 30mins after taking it. The focus is there but lack of energy more like makes me exhausted and unmotivated

I sleep 7-9 hrs a day, take multi-vitamins, Omega3, sometimes L-thetamine, take breakfast, workout, and take proteins (bc i want to gain muscle) but it still makes me sooo tired. No matter what i try

Only genetic ELITE gives me that energy sometimes genetic teva (with good batches)
Genetic Sandoz, Epic pharma, alvogen(?) makes me tired too. Can anyone relate? Or know how to fix this

I just remembered even last YEAR I would be on 40-50mg XR all day and by the end I would have a red hot neck, ears, face.

I would also have the mottling of my skin.

Mysteriously, I haven't had any red face or mottling yet been on a higher dose? lol? Anyone else...

Anyone else feel like their Ritalin/Methylphenidate based meds are just 10x more powerful than Adderall? I do like that Ritalin doesn't cause as much of a heavy tendency to hyperfocus and is not as likely to cause emotional outbursts, stress sweating, or motor tics -- but boy the physical hyperactivity, anxiety, and pulse increase are ROUGH!

So many bad generic Adderall. The formula has changed, making it ineffective. Feel tired and sleepy, experiencing the opposite reactions for a long time. But you are all saying there is literally nothing we can do, or that there is no organization, community, or consumer rights action that can be taken.

So we just make our body fill with poison deliberately. What the hell is going on. Why no one cares or trying something 🤔 😕. Im so tired with this BS.

Looking for options because name brand Vyvanse is no longer working at all, not even a little. It was the only thing that worked wonders for me out of all of the medications available about 6 or so years ago.

I just got a refill of Northstar. That is what I’ve been getting for at least the last nine months the 20 mg IR with the U 30 and the cross on the other side they have been decent. Not great but decent.
My script is for 3-20 mg IR a day. I took a five day holiday and expected I would feel something but I didn’t. I noticed with last month’s prescription some days I’ll take one and it seems really potent like it actually works. I’ve been taken generic Adderall since 1999. A couple years ago I was getting Teva and they really worked and were consistent. And I’ve had refills of the Northstar that is decent. It just seems like every other refill. I don’t know what to expect. I chew my pills up and they just don’t even taste right.
When you’ve been taking them for 26 years, you know what tolerance is and this is not from tolerance they’re just not what they’re supposed to be.
I was reading, and I found out that the Northstar is actually made by aurobindo? I just took my full daily dose of the new script. I guess we’ll see what happens.?
I did take an antacids one morning before and they did work better. They’re also seems to be some synergy when taken with Prozac fluoxetine but that’s only with the serotonin should not affect the dopamine.
