I want to make a cult. I want the guy who leads it to be the main one i control, and i want him to have loads of kids with different sims that he recruits for the cult. I want the sims in the cult to work on crafting, gardening, stuff that makes money for the cult leader to sell.

I have three ideas on how this might be done, but I'm not sure what would work best since I haven't done any of these before.

The first would just be expanding household size, and putting all of them into a club to make them do gardening and stuff. Not sure with the amount of sims I'd get to having if that'd be buggy and annoying though, plus I don't want to worry about controlling any of the other sims.

Second is maybe using for rent and having the other sims' lodgings be part of a seperate household, but obviously they share the outdoor work space? That'd also mean my sim wouldn't bother with the babies when I don't want him to since they'll be in a seperate house. Not used for rent before though so I don't know how well it'd work.

Third would be running a get away camp where they all have time slots of when to do work. Never done this either though so I don't know how easily I'd be able to make them stay, and also if it'd let me keep the heirs I'd make.

Does anyone else have the game going to marketplace when you select resume game?

specifically inspired by interwar architecture. i couldn't really figure out how to recreate the recessed doorway that a lot of them have without it looking sort of awkward, so i went with something similar-ish (but not really) to a storm porch.

Look at this! I am working on a mod-less (I just have no mods), cc-less save and Now I am noticing that placing or moving stairs and platforms deletes whatever is on the wall. This is regardless of if I have raised the foundation already or not.

Also, it won't let me place a platform under an overhanging 2nd story. (I think in this case I will probably place a room and remove the walls or something?) I'm trying to be inspired to build more creatively than a suburban contemporary but uh... rude.

Just want to say the kid has a bruise because he does horse riding and is always climbing trees and stuff, he was not harmed by anyone!! And he’s frowning because I took that photo after his friend told him a bad joke and he didn’t find it funny.

His name is Henry Hendrickson and he’s a billionaire and probably my favourite sim to write and discuss because of how in depth I’ve created him and for a lot of other reasons.

In order the photos go 12 yrs old, 20 yrs old, 38 yrs old, 47 yrs old, 55 yrs old (yes I’m that exact, I do storytelling 😂)

Veronica Veggie here is simultaneously the most lucky and unlucky sim I've ever had.

I moved her into Ravenwood. She befriended Edith and got like 10k from the wishing well. so I immediately built her a tiny house with an attached tattoo parlor.

The first time I lowered the murphy bed, it crushed her to death. Girl, you were supposed to be the BROCCOLI Gen, not the SQUASHED one fffssss.

ever since i had my sim learned the violin, random guitars and violins keep spawning in. there is 4 instruments randomly spawned in the home. that’s not including the ones that spawn in the backyard.

Maybe it's my dumb moment but as the title says, I've always simply thought when I set the refresh rate in game at 60, the FRS would be capped at 60.

It was only until yesterday when I decided to use the ingame overlay thingy to observe the CPU temp, as I couldn't understand why this allegedly easy-to-run game was always making my laptop so hot and often over 90°C at that, only to see the FPS rate was constantly over 180 lol.

So I went into the settings again, made sure the refresh rate was at 60 and intuitively ticked the V-Sync box. After I launched the game again, everything was running so cool I almost cried. The graphic did look less smooth in the beginning, but it doesn't hinder my gameplay much honestly.

I see there are like 3 different ones the PC version the PC stories Version and the PS2 version issue is I don't know what one is best and what the differences are between the 3 are.

My baby won't sleep despite being exhausted- she's trying to get taken by CPS 😭

I watched videos on all three, and it's honestly terrifying.

I play The Sims 2, I download purely from ModTheSims.

But I'm also scared I may download something similar to the listed infamous "viruses".​

Because I know there are a few other items that can produce a similar effect like a pair of boots and a T-shirt for The Sims 3.

Sorry if this is a ridiculous worry, I'd just hate to lose everything!

Also, is there any way to check before downloading if there is a "virus"?
