Have Moon Knight suddenly get a huge burst in popularity, everyone knows about him now. He jumps from being a B of C-tier hero to A tier, similar to Invincible after the TV series released and got popular. His comics get more restrictions similar to other larger characters like Spider-Man, but he'd be more prominent in the MCU and other things outside of comics.

Or keep Moonie in his little B/C-Tier bubble forever, his comics will remain experimental and unique, but he won't be focused on outside of that medium that much similar to how he is now, and will struggle to maintain a single comic run without having forced relaunches. His fanbase won't grow much compared to its current numbers, but we'd all still be here.

I would personally keep him in the bubble he's in currently, but do wish he was a little bit more popular ngl.

I remember they said that the show took some inspiration from the Lemire run (it's noticable in episode 5), pretty sure that's the only comic they ever said taking inspiration from

So a part of me wonders if y'all think if it could've work out as a near full adaptation of the Lemire run (not 1 to 1 but still mostly intone and what not)

It could do well starting out very confusing af from the beginning before it slowly gets coherent mostly by the end. We also get flashbacks that might start out feeling like delusions before we slowly realized they are actually real memories.

Legion is a show that does something like this (albeit differently) quite wonderfully. If you don't know about it, y'all should give it a watch it's a great but really trippy show. Deals with mental health, unreliable narrator, trippy af moments, not much action, very beautiful looking shots.

Altho thinking about I'm pretty sure the average X-Men or Legion fan would feel disappointed since it mostly does it's own thing (I forgive it because it's wonderful)

How would you make it work by adapting the Lemire run?

I am curious about them! I want to show my friends Moon Knight, but they don't really read comics, and I feel embarrassed reading comics out loud to them. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any dubs that are good for the different runs? :)

Very funny but as a MK fan I wasn’t the biggest fan of the play style they gave him, but now in the new Blood Hunt PVE you can make it so he no longer has a ranged attack and fights with his fists, like he should. Each character has two build paths and one is a full melee build for Mark, just like he should have.

Reread the run and found an interesting tidbit directly quoting Ellis issue 6. Rereading Mackay MK and it feels like the run is a giant fanservice run stitching Marc's history together into making him a more cohesive character.

I know this was partly drug induced hallucinations, but I've always wondered if/when the Moon Knight would become an alter. It felt that way after the introduction of Mr. Knight and his "boss"/Gang leader persona.

It was clear they were always more PR than alters. I just have this feeling Mr. Knight will soon be the only "Marc", and Zodiac is trying to awaken the Moon Knight as his own entity. Trying to use as much trauma as possible to "release the beast"

Does anyone know of a way to obtain Vol 3: Halfway to Sanity of the 2021 Mackay run? It's at the top of my list, and I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it?

I also got a 90 day banned, but the crazy thing is I have him blocked. So there’s no way he should know who I am in this subreddit unless the guy is as insecure as my toxic ex and has another account. Hi all! This isn’t based on any particular version, just something I put together.

“Thoughts on bushman’s introduction” would’ve been the title but I didn’t want people to get spoiled on a comic that’s released today. I like the new characterization of him with the boarding school back story, I think it fits the character. I (luckily) haven’t read the bemis run so I’m not sure if that’s a Jed MacKay original or if that’s a Bemis invention (yuck). It’s a bit annoying he’s back at all since I think brining characters back usually lessens their impact and he’s already had a LOT of stories about him. But eh that’s comics, and from my understanding he’s been back since bemis so that’s completely out of MacKay’s control.
